@dissonantpulse11 күн бұрын
Also lack of energy to make new albums
@cascaleon10 күн бұрын
Completely agree. Saw behemoth recently and the energy is huge and the power in the music… dimmu seem little apathetic in the performance
@belsebubswe10 күн бұрын
I LOVE Dimmu Borgir but yea their lack of energy is insanly boring. Last time i saw them....in the mid 2010's i was so bored because they just stood there no headbanging or moving around like they used to do. Helluva boring to watch, dunno if they've got serious body problems like injuries or something and can't move. It's sad to see, not even Victor (bassist) moves around like he do in other bands. Damn it's so sad!

Dimmu Borgir as well as thousands of bands the same spectrum have suffered a natural process of revitalization and readaptation in industry.We can see clearly the chage being made in terms of production as much as business strategy to keep surving.Tearfully for this legendary band it has been completely chaotic and messed,because they have not got to do it on right way in order to make successfully work on this transition very useful now.Unfortunately,they are going on walking around shadows without having a glimpse of hope to spruce themselves up again.

They haven't been able to put together a single coherent song since ICS-Vortex quit. Seems like he was the main driving force during the 1999-2009 era of the band. It feels like they are mainly rehashing old material ever since he quit. It's a bit of a shame since that era of Dimmu is so legendary, both because it was so divisive among bm fans yet hailed by fans of most other genres (as well as outside of metal circles).

Daaaamn. That’s gotta suck when everyone’s favorite parts (as well as the end of “Insight and the catharsis”) have to be backtracked because they fucked up by loosing Simen (ICS Vortex). 🤦🏻♂️ Their best albums are the ones with Jamie (Astennu) and Qyivnd (Mustis).
