Tony Laureano's performance in t his concert and the 2007 wacken from the same dvd box is absolutely phenomenal. Tjodalv, Hellhammer, Barker... he plays their parts to near perfection.

His earlier stint with the band as touring drummer was underwhelming. But here he absolutely slays. Daray could never keep up with some of the material, but Tony makes it look easy.

Crap! Has it been 10 freaking years since that tour??? I can't believe times goes so fast :( I saw them in San Diego in 2007 with Unearth, Devildriver, and Kataklysm. Then in 2008 in Anaheim with Behemoth and Keep of Kalessin. I missed their tour in 2010 with Enslaved, but don't feel bad about it because Vortex was not in the band anymore ;)

from 1997 to 2004 they where at their peek no one could catch them they were way ahead of every one. I saw them at lamours 2001 with children of bodom , nevermore and hypocrisy, then again at the nokia around 2004, 2005 with devildriver, machine head and katakysm. they destroyed both times the best black metal out there,get vortex mustis, and nick barker back in the and tear it up for at least one tour

+haluk efe He always does great but this is Tony Laureano drumming. Though they are not easy to tell apart by just one glimpse, Blomberg is a little bit shorter (at least as I recall) and in much better shape :) Also Blomberg places his bass drums nearly parallel (is this a english word at all? Not sure. I hope you get the idea) and uses normally white reso heads for bass - yeah, he's a trve rebel ;)
