I remember actresses who have had one-off characters on Seinfeld saying that when they auditioned for a Seinfeld part, and when they were at the audition location, there were so many beautiful women there, together and also auditioning, that it was a bit intimidating, as in, "How am I going to beat these women out?". If I was a Hollywood actress, and I saw Dina Meyer in the 90's / 2000's as someone who I had to audition against for a part that needed a good looking woman, I'd just walk out of the building and go home.

Diz carries that movie. One of my favorite female characters in any movie. I remember at the time thinking Dina Meyer was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. Went out and got Dragonheart to watch right after that.

Oh, Starship Troopers. His character was the best of the movie, I never cared about the space plot with Denise Richards. When Dina's character died, the movie went downhill without brakes. The rest just fell apart for me.

"Starship Troopers" is not satire. It reflects Robert Heinlein's world view.

Never ending amount of people that dont understand that the movie is satire of fascism. The book is not, but rather support such ideals and why the director didnt want to portray it like such. Anyone who watches the movie with two braincells can see its a fascist utopia and all the faults that brings, aka a shit society and why the satire is so good.
