Starship Troopers was one of my favorite films off all time, I just finished watching it again, I'm glad to know that both Dina and Casper have aged gracefully and both look great. Dina's beauty is ageless and Casper has only gotten buffer through time. Killing bugs has done wonders for them.

Actually it would have been a great film but jews didn't like the message the movie was sending about the successful fascist society and didn't realize it was parody, so they rated the movie bad and wrote articles about how bad the movie was and that it shouldn't be in any theater.

There's no comparing the 'hotness.' Dizzy / Dina has SO much more personality than Carmen / Denise. The movie has aged well. I think people are finally realizing that there really isn't any difference between the over-the-top Fascist TV ads and the rest of the film. (At the end, the two merge and become indistinguishable.)

Despite their GREAT performances in Traitor of Mars, I really think they could have pulled it off live-action. A grizzled, older Johnny Rico haunted by the image of Dizzy, a telepathic figment in his mind. Could definitely have been possible. Might still be, people are coming out all over the place in support for the original film which seems to be far better appreciated today than every before...

And Van Dien really deserves a chance to show some real deep emotion in a mature Rico performance, have a serious heart to heart with some intense, quality camera close ups. Diz was one of the dream girls growing up... she was beautiful, sexy, tough, funny, cool... and was in love with the hero, while he ignored her which made you like her more, and feel bad for her.. then when Rico finally gives her a chance, and she gets to be with him, she gets brutally killed RIGHT AFTER in the most heartbreaking of ways.. which made you love her even more, and feel so sorry for her. Incredible character with an incredible performance. Honestly, everyone was great in this.. what a gem of a film.
