I actually really like him because first of all he’s seems like he’s really nice, he doesn’t do the insulting thing, he really seems to enjoy being able to play with people who are way above his skill level which is delightful he is somebody to model as a person who is not very good at chess

He is... I played against him ages and ages back. Pre-covid I'm sure. I'm just a middlin' player. And there really isn't any 'hustle'. I sit down, give him like $30 and ask "Play a normal game, then give me a chance, then just trounce me as quick as you can'. I get 3 games in and he gets to have a bit o' fun. Maybe I learn something too. :)

It shows instantly whether your playing a beginner or an expert at the game. Theres a reason u need opening theory to be able to compete with players like dina. Wouldnt call it being very observant, just being an experienced amateur will do that for you. Im far from dinas level but i would notice instantly if i play someone over 2K.

Johnny's a truly wonderful soul. A great, friendly, fun-loving guy. Not a hustler, but a guy who's always ready to help anyone and everyone learn chess. Always a humorous word and a smile, despite the hard life he's had. It kinda makes me sad that high-level chess players make fun of him by pretending they're newbies and then defeating him, but he takes it all with a smile. By the way, he kind of figured you out from min 4:00 - 5:00, dropping many hints about who or what you might be, Dina 😄

@ I’m very aware that the X is of Greek origin and from the 11th or 12th century origins and used as an ABBREVIATION used when writing on parchment was very costly. Does it cost too much or save precious time to type/write only one “letter” instead of six? I’m far from a religious fanatic and am not a liberal who gets offended easily, however, I think it’s just lazy and disrespectful to abbreviate Christmas as Xmas. Just my opinion. You’re welcome.

I know Johnny personally and know that he never earned anything from the millions of views on cramlings video. I reached out to Anna via Twitter on Johnny's behalf, with his permission, suggesting that she could send some of the earnings his way - a charitable contribution for all he did to boost that videos revenue, but never got a response on that..she likely never even saw the DM - yet I also wonder if she ever considered sharing either. I believe Johnny should receive something, though.
