Very impressive! And on your own. ( Did make me smile when you said you'd moved down the hill to avoid the hump. Nothing to do with the caravan owner coming back lol)
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
No, there was no one in the caravan then 😆 A slightly better pitch just a few metres down avoided a small lump in the bedroom and the campsite owner got a power extension in place for it to reach 😁

Not sure if you could help, but we have this tent and the pole that goes through the rain safe canopy is that tight that it puts too much pressure on the actual door. Did you experience this too?

Hi! Great video. We chose ours based on your review. I don’t suppose you could suggest a recommended PSI for the beams. The instructions say max 9 but wondering what the optimal is in your opinion. Thanks!
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
Yes, what I've found is somewhere between 7-9. If it is warm, I wouldn't inflate up to 9 as the air will expand and I wouldn't want it bursting an air tube. However, if it's colder, you might need more than 7. You can generally tell when inflated how rigid it's holding the tent. If the air tubes are sagging, put a bit more air in them.

@@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk thanks so much. Just done our first pitch in 40mph winds and it’s holding up surprisingly well. Had to push it to 8psi, but your pitching video was SO helpful. Thanks so much!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Really good videos, but you guys seem to be an Outwell only set up? Are there any negatives to the equipment you are provided with?
@JS-cz7vz3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for the video. I may have remember wrong as a child but if a mattress or bad inside was resting along the side of the tent inside and it rained then the wet would come through. I also remembering the wet coming in underneath. Does the ground sheet stop rain coming in underneath.
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
Yes, on this tent that’s not something to worry about. It’s a waterproof groundsheet that is sewn in so water cannot run into the tent. Also, as the fly sheet is polyester you don’t have to worry as much about things touching the sides.

Can you get an additional room for this tent.?
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
No, though there's enough space in the living area for a small pop-up tent.

@@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk we went out in this tent for the first time at the weekend, and we loved it apart from the air beds are very uncomfortable what would you recommend
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
This tent is big enough for camp beds, as you can see in our Part 2 video. Alternatively, the Outwell Self Inflating Mats, like the Outwell Dreamboat, are much more comfortable than airbeds.
@rebeccasrandomreviews67493 жыл бұрын
@@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk thank you we are looking at the dreamboat or the Vango grand but they are not cheap are they. Are you doing any more camping hack videos soon?

I'm impressed. I could just convince my wife to go camping with our 1 year old son and I'm realy looking forward. We will camp in the southern part of switzerland and bought the hayward lake 5atc (it will be hot). I have one question, if you pack away the tent do you leave the sleeping cabin inside or do you remove it prior deflating?
@GetoutwiththekidsCoUk3 жыл бұрын
On this tent, I leave the inner tent attached. It was already attached when I inflated too. :-)
@douglaslawson1931 Жыл бұрын
Thinking of buying one of their tents. Wanted to see how the inflation works. Very nice chap, but way too long a video. Way too chatty.
