Great setup, you have all the right gear, which you can add to in time. Most of our gear is second hand, unless we required it to be new.

Yes! Second hand is a great way forward!

I found your video really helpful! I’m taking three children camping for the first time this August… we are all so excited but I’m a little nervous there will be something we are missing 😂. I have a travel cot but as my youngest is now three I’ll be putting her into a double with me so that saves carrying the cot around. That bib thing that attaches to the chair is amazing! Never knew they existed! We are looking to get a few trips in so we have some experience for when we tackle the NC500. Wish us luck 😅

White noise has been a god send in everyday life! I'm trying to buy more of our beds as the toddler is now old enough for a real bed but they seem to be out of stock :O

love the tent! they dont sell these tents in the states so i have to ship it from the uk. thanks for the video. i want my setup exactly like yours!
@tessvandijk23512 жыл бұрын
Most stores in the UK wont ship to the USA but theres one in Holland that will and they speak perfect English. So if you’re doing what we are look for only poly cotton tents. Unless you live north and plan to only camp in the north buy a breathable poly cotton tent. Best of luck and happy camping.

Hi. Nice vid, Thanks for sharing. Your battery light that was hanging from 'ceiling' that has the red light mode, would you mind telling us where you got that from? Thank you.
@FamilyCampingEurope Жыл бұрын
Hi, it's actually from a Dutch shop called Action and the brand is Froyak. It's quite flimsy and probably wouldn't recommend that lamp itself - but the red function is definitely handy.

What do you do if it rains? Do you have to quickly put everything inside the tent. i usually have a tent for sleeping and another tent or tarp with poles for everything else.
@FamilyCampingEurope2 жыл бұрын
I really need to invest in some sort of tarp/gazebo for this reason. Thankfully we've been mostly lucky with weather

Does the cooler bag actually work
@FamilyCampingEurope Жыл бұрын
It's ok for keeping things cool, with ice packs for maybe a day or so. But it wouldn't work to cool anything down like an electric box would.

Wow, where is the charity shop you to to lol ?

Haha, we've found some massive bargains in the English run ones in France. Hope 16 is a great one if you're ever travelling the area :)

@@FamilyCampingEurope I live in France too with my french husband (born and raised a Lancashire lass) but I've struggled to find charity shops over here. I live in south Seine et Marne, near Fontainebleau. So when I go home I hit the charity shops haha. Even converted hubby 🤣

@@Kiwiclegg I really struggled when we lived in Montpellier - there was none around! Since living in the countryside more and more are popping up everyday. I still generally find better kids stuff in the UK ones though.

@@FamilyCampingEurope Yes I kitted my step kids out from the ones in the UK and I get hubbys shirts over there aswell. I fill suitcases when I go over lol. Have a great day and thanks xx

I did not like the video because it has a lot of uninteresting details, they should have been more detailed about the camping tent, the utensils and facilities you used.
