I am not really into the Gypsy Jazz thing much as I find it too frantic....makes me nervous!! 😅 But, yes, Joscho is a phenomenal guitarist and I much prefer to hear him playing on an amplified archtop. He NEVER seems to run out of musical ideas.

I find it admirable to see non-Brazilians trying to play bossa nova, even if the language is far removed from the true "pronunciation" of Brazilian music. Pentatonics aren't compatible with bossa nova and supporting notes in the tonic of the chord doesn't sound good either. But I commend them both.
