This woman being so awestruck around wealth makes it a cringe watch. Her questions are extremely banal too. Why does aspiration always have to mean wealth accumulation? Living in a sea-facing penthouse or owning a fleet of luxury cars? Those should always be by-products of one's core aspiration. And the core aspiration should always be solving a critical problem for millions, doing something for the country, a sporting achievement or creating great art or helping with nation building. Wealth accumulation should never be an end in itself. Did Vishy Anand fulfill his aspirations by winning 5 world chess championships? Or did Prof. Amartya Sen or Prof. Ashoke Sen fullfill their aspirations by winning the Nobel and the Breakthrough Prize respectively? None of these people will ever be as wealthy as Dinesh Thakkar, but does that mean they did not achieve what they set out to do? This woman has got the concept of aspiration and happiness all wrong.
