Thanks Ricky! We lived on the hill behind Austin’s Ferry when we first moved here. We sailed from the Austin’s Ferry club - such a shame it folded. But, back then, the history wasn’t so easy to find records of. I walked the dogs in the park there every day - and I had no idea about that wall being so significant. I’m so glad that it’s on display now.

Love the wooden boats. After watching this and others I think I will try to locate a nice wooden sailing dinghy. Glad you are enjoying them and doing what the boats love, life on the water.

Wooden boats are great! But piccolo is a cheating dinghy - she’s actually fibreglass even if she looks like the real deal. Which is great because we have so many other wooden boats to maintain! Nothing like being out on the water. Thanks so much for watching our little films :)

Hi Guys, what a very lovely waterways you have down there and yes I have sail to Tasmania twice. Just asking for a friend…is there a place called shipright or was it called Shipwight as I can understand if you hit the wrong key as there only one key between then. LOL

Shipright is the name of the wooden launch, owned by Peter and Dallas, featured in the first section of the video. It’s a beautiful boat. So glad you enjoyed seeing Tassie again!
