That's a clever coffee mug: half mug, half cafetière? Lovely video. Nice to pay tribute to Roger and to Arwen, but your channel is perfectly able to stand on its own merits.

Lovely video. Like Roger Barnes, I live in France and haunt many of the same places with my 12ft Zef and my 14ft Beneteau Cabochard "Novalis" with her little cabin. He has become a good friend and has taught me many things after my basic training with the Fédération Française de Voile and the Glénans. I have never been to Aussie. It all looks so clean and natural.

After living in the U.K and holidaying in France many times, I do miss the history and culture, but Australia as you say is unpolluted, uncrowded and always blessed with good weather. In fact it took a while for me to get used to blue skies everyday. Yes we do have bushfires, droughts and a high cost of living especially in Sydney. But we also have a lot of parks and waterways that are unspoilt (apart from Jet skis grrrrrrr!)Thanks for watching I'm glad you enjoy the channel and say hello to Roger the next time you meet him. I do leave comments on his channel but he never replies. Thanks for watching again Bon Vie Paul

Vids getting better and better mate. You're right about the sad reality of trying to find something small and traditional with a lid in Oz - I've been keeping an eye out for a few years now too. I do love my little dinghy, but its just so much more practical having a lid in my opinion. Being able to get valuables out of the weather, or lock them away when you go for a walk, plus being able to get out of the weather yourself, or have somewhere to crash in an instant. So many perfect looking little boats in Europe and so few here, :-( Will just keep on scanning the adds I guess...

Hmm 🤔 not being Assie I have to be dumb n ask. Are mossies what we call skeeters 🦟 or mosquitoes here in the States. When I backpacked taking groups of teenage boys on week long hikes skeeters were often a pain in the high country meadow n swampy areas. Cheers 🥂 Dave. That thunderstorm stuff isn’t fun in high mtns with aluminum ten poles either. Papa J.

That's because I'm not a very good fisherman and when sailing on a small boat it's a bit tricky baiting hooks and casting,,,a hand line would be ok, but also most boats don't have holding tanks etc. Thanks for watching, have a great Christmas, cheers Paul
