So I've watched this video and the previous one on Dingle Dangle's - and I'm curious. I can see how the device is made and it's effect on casting - but can't see how it works in practice or how the device goes with the balance of the rig.

Where’s the foam?

Dangles don’t always require foam, in fact 70% of the time I don’t use foam.

​@@On-PointAdventures Other than casting distance, what other benefits do you get from using a dangle? The foam appeals to me because it suspends the bait and you're less likely to get harassed by rays. The cons for the foam is I reckon tailor would chomp straight through it.. But without the need to cast 200m and if your bait isn't getting suspended, is there a reason to use a dangle over a standard running rig?
