Oh hello, it's been a while. I'm afraid I've not been too well. I suffer from severe mental illness which fluctuates. I've been streaming mostly and trying to start a music performance project, and these videos have fallen to the wayside mostly because of my Octavius presence putting me in the line of harrasment which, when I'm alreadly stretched thin, I'm unable to safely manage. There are more videos coming. I am just about well enough to be back as the Octavius character for now. In the future, if I know I have to stop putting videos live for a while I'll tell you. I didn't think it was going to take me this long to beat the anxiety of literally pressing a "publish" button. I hope you enjoy the video. Louis x

The "crazy Gallic macho(?)" line is a reference to the Gallic Rooster, one of, if not the, oldest national symbols of France. It has its origin in a Latin pun, and we all know that Dingo are great at handling word-play... I have no idea if the third word is really intended to be macho or not though. Things like this are one of the things I find really interesting with Dingo Pictures movies, just like the Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich connection pointed out in many of the other comments, the movies contain some really odd references. The creators at Dingo were quite obviously quite well read on rather diverse topics, and yet these movies are what they decided to put out. I'm always happy to see you review Dingo movies, and I'll happily view the Wabuu storyline if you get around to it. But mainly I hope you take care of yourself as best possible. We can wait. ❤

The only sad thing was that because after 2 5 years the town found out about the pet and told them to put it down or get rid of it which they had ti do and that poor pig knew everything that was happening and was so sad and fought it the whole way. Not a single character in this animation remains a consistent size. In one scene, the goat is goat size. In the next, it's the size of the cat. In one scene, Janis is the size of a grown up pig, and then in the next, she's the size of a baby pig. Then in the next, she's the size of a young adult pig. Not a single character has a consistent size. Their sizes jump all over the place. I don't think that Dingo Pictures artists understood the concept of scale. Frankly, the problem is that the backgrounds were painted separately from the animation and were probably painted at the same time that the animator was doing the animation cells. The person drawing the animation probably had no clue what the background was going to look like and was just told, "Make the pig walking", or "Make this character laughing." With no reference to the background or idea of where the characters were going to be in reference to each other in the frame, the animator would have had no sense of the scale to draw these characters. And then... of course there's the issue of, "We want the artist to draw as little as possible. Do we have a set of animations that we can shove in there that would fit the bill rather than drawing something? Use that. We'll kind of try to make it fit.... oh heck... just use it even if it doesn't fit. Time is money."
