The first time I saw a 3D printer in action was around 2006. And since then I always thought 3D printing requires very complex setup. It’s so easy now!

I've been watching many setup guides for LK5 Pro (guess why)--this guide is the BEST. Thanks DW!

They seem to be upgrading on this one, as they get feedback.. I just bought one for 330$ with upgraded Metal extruder and also added "New Dual Blower Kit" to the cart on their website. Since i can see most reviewers agree that the cooling is lacking. This will be my first 3D printer, seems like you get pretty decent build volume for the money, other competitors seem to charge at least 100$ more for the same volume, and still dont give you a touch screen.

Only issue i've had is bed adhesion. I'm able to create a brim but when it goes for a circle for a hole on layer 1 it fails most of the time. Going to get a glue stick tomorrow to see if that helps.

Hi Ding I have a Longer LK5 Pro I cnnot do the set up as there is no movement on the Y axis . Have you any thoughts to help me .
@DingsWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Hmm, did you check the y axis cable and make sure they’re seated correctly at both the motor connector and the motherboard connector?
@michaeldziendziel38602 жыл бұрын
Check your wheels... if they are too loose or tight they won't move... the little wrench that comes with the printer will let you adjust them... only one of each group of wheels has a nut and is adjustable.

I got this 3D printer as a first 3D printer and first prints have like little dots on the print and it struggles with small prints i dont know if its only me or my settings i firstly used the longer slizers which had more dots later i switched to cura and tweaked the settings i slowed the printing speed and most of the blobs dissapeared maybe its just me being a beginner
@Tech______10 ай бұрын
So i have the printer in a room were i play games most of the time so i have the window open and maybe its the humidity coming from the open window again im a beginner so i dont know all the stuff yet i printed a 3d model of a heinkel he 162 in 1:32 scale and it had flaps that were separete and had little openings in the flaps and when printed vertically it left plastic blobs in the holes making it impossible to attach the flaps to the wing without sanding

I bought the longer LK5 Pro a few months back and today I finally had time to assemble it last week I got everything together with no problems easy stuff, but I have A big Problem. (Please Help Me) Problem: Step 6 says the Z-axis limit switch installation height is flush with the upper edge of the white label [[Problem is there is no label on mine!! I need to know how high the Z-axis limit switch is supposed to be from the bottom of the left side of the gantry because "there is no label" I will subscribe to anyone that helps me get this information because I have yet to get a reply from customer support on this matter. you can send information in mm or inch.
@robertlawrence6606 Жыл бұрын
Had the same problem, looked at a few pics and vids of the position it was most commonly mounted and haven't had any problems. Afterwards do 3 rounds of the 5 point leveling and you should be good. The axis switch should click right after the nozzle makes light contact with the bed. Im a noob but I hope this helps. I thought I was buying a new unit but they are clearly remans. They missed the rollers under the bed. Full of black roller crumbs from extended use before I bought it. Dust and minor rust on well worn fasteners. Too many scratch n dents to count. It's printing fine though. Hope this helps!

Hi friend,your video looks interesting. Do you know the brand of Longer, which makes 3D printers? We're looking for collaborators. Are you interested in testing Longer's machine?

Bought the Longer LK5 Pro 3d printer and it didn't work right out of the box. The Z axis would only go up but not down, wouldn't home and was doing strange things. So, I contacted Longer support to find out that my printer had a bad motherboard. Then they told me they would ship me a new motherboard and to fix it myself. I guess they got the name LONGER for it want work long but takes longer to get it fixed. I wouldn't trust anything with the brand name Longer on it. I have three other 3d printers from three different manufactures and have had no issues. Again, I wouldn't trust anything with the brand name Longer on it.

I’ve had this printer for over 2 months and have not been able to complete 1 single print I’m not sure if it’s me or the printer at this point I’ve watched over 30 videos and still not close

same my print keeps f'n moving at the very end!!! I think its the leveling issue
@DingsWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
Can you check to make sure the drive belts are tight? If the drive belts are loose, it could “jump out of gear”.
@goodluck2 жыл бұрын
@@DingsWorkshop I believe they are. Is it normal for a print to get to 90% then knock out of place? I just started yesterday and ran through all my filament trying to get it "leveled" I'm waiting for more to continue testing

@@goodluck I’m having the same issue , everything was good in the beginning and now I’m here trying to level the bed over and over again because it won’t print properly 🤦♂️ I don’t know what to do
@goodluck2 жыл бұрын
@@KingSlayer033 It took me forever but I just had to focus really hard and use a thin sheet of paper to line each one up. been up and running daily since then and everything comes out flawless. make sure to print with ultimaker it has better settings
