So impressed how you drill pocket holes without using a clamp. Also appreciate that you list material and walk through plans without charging, which most others always charge.

If you put your palm on the clamp spot and use the drill on high speed you don’t really need to clamp it if you don’t drill to drill into the wood too quickly. It saves a lot of time. No problem! I get a lot of comments saying that Woodglut is the way to go, but I’m not paying money for plans. That’s just silly!

This is perfect. Thank you! I have a dining room table and 3 chairs and wanted to get a black bench to go with the set. Couldn’t find one that was a reasonable price so I came here to see how easy it was to build one and this video is exactly what I was looking. How much weight so you think these would support? Could I add a fabric cushion on top if I want? Maybe staple it in?

You’re welcome! Glad you found this video valuable’ absolutely! I would use some 1/2” or 3/4” plywood then attach it from the bottom with screws

What do you think is the weight limit for this bench and capacity-2 people?

I think it could hold 400-500 lbs easily.
