I don’t know if you do this when you open a can of paint, but I learned this from a professional painter. When you open the can, take a hammer and a appropriate size nail and put holes in the well at the top of the can the whole way around. Then, the paint will drip back into the can.

PLEASE MARY, I NEED LOTS LOTS MORE on your new ROOM CHALLENGE. This will be great on so many levels - educational, entertainment, budget friendly and different from so many other video channels. I love how you take us through all your shoping and design thought processes. How everything can also be done with other budgets and considerations. Also important recommendations on DIY equipment like paint. Keeping everthing tidy as you DIY in the home. I recognise all the hard work you do, even if you make it look effortless. The make overs with everything you do always increases the worth of each item. I do not just mean the monetary one of budget. But the real lesson worth of hardwork, setting/attaining goals, and improving the life/surrounding around you. It is great having you give us MORE MASTER CLASSES in the coming programmes.

Love this concept - please do more. I did this to a neighbors house she had just gone through a very nasty divorce and didn’t have much of anything to start her new life with. Her teenage son said all he ever one it was a nice house that he could bring his friends to be proud of. She saved up $500 in with I set out looking for resale on market place and charity resale shops not to mention a little bit of ingenuity they both got exactly what they wanted.

What i do with Annie Sloan CP especially in a case like urs where u r using white do cover such a deep color is... I take a small amount of the paint put in a separate container and thin it out with water to make a thin primer coat and will do 1 or 2 passes with the "primer coat b4 using the full strength paint..that way the paint lasts longer and u end up with Full coverage

I love it all Mary.💓 I wanted to also let you know that before you paint anything make five nail holes on the center inner lip of the can where the lid rest on after closing it.
