New subscriber here 👋💗 I actually really like the table and chairs alot. The wood design is really pretty. It’s going to look amazing once you paint or stain them. I was thinking, for the lines on the surface of table maybe an epoxy resin to fill in or a heavy duty clear table cover once you’re done repainting or staining it so no food or dust gets trapped in the lines.

Welcome and thanks 💕 I stained the table, and it came our nice still deciding about the chairs to stain or buy new ones lol because I haven't found anything nice to cover the seats.

You can use wood filler to get rid of the "lines" in the table BUT you'll have to sand the table top afterwards to make it smooth. Some stains wont take well to the wood filler. It usually darkens in the spots the filler is in. *LOVE the changes! New Subbie!

Beyond paint in black may look nice on the table and chairs. clean and/or get new seat cushions for chairs or get chair covers. Otherwise everything is looking really nice. Maybe paint the window seals white as well in the dining room.

Yes, I'm still thinking about the chairs and the covers. I cleaned and finished the table, just trying to see what would work for the rest.

Bringing the floors out to your dining area definitely elevated the space. I would suggest you add curtain panels to finish off the space

Thanks, using these floors throughout the rest of the house except the kids' rooms. I'm not sure about curtains my 2 year old would bring them down lol but I'm looking at some other blinds instead once I'm done with the living room area.

@@shemaiahdenisereplace those vinyl blinds with wood blinds; it would be so much prettier and as some one stated before some really nice curtains or valence will be nice for kitchen and dining room. You’re an inspiration. Loving your remake..
