Dining Table with Dog Bed

I needed a new dining table and a new dog bed. since my dog smudo loves to sleep under tables anyways, i decided to combine the two.
The tabletop is made of bookmatched oak slabs and the leg construction is steel. My friend Tanja came over to help me with sewing the fabrics.

Lucky dog. 😍 When I saw the thumbnail I wondered if it was going to be a hammock-style bed. Years ago I made one like that for my cat; it hung on the four legs of a sculptor's modeling stand.

always look forward to seeing your videos. your approach and design process is uniquely your own. Also i love the fact that you don't do a lot of voice over work...such a waste of time and letting the work speak for itself. Too many makers love to hear the sound of their voice. Would much rather hear cool tunes and the natural sound of the project. LOve Smudo!!!!
