I was an avid collector of Dinky and Corgi when I was a kid back in the 60s and I used think how accommodating Corgi were giving provision on the chassis of some of its cars (a slot at the back) to hitch up their competitors caravans. Back then Corgi didn't have a caravan in its range.

Great job! Am thinking of buying one to restore myself. Can I trouble you for the dimensions of this caravan (ignoring the hitch)?
@PBsRetroRestorations3 жыл бұрын
Hi David, Thank you! The caravan measures 11.2 cm x 4.3 cm, the dolly wheel adds 0.5 cm to that, and the hook adds 2.5 cm. It's a neat model for sure, looks great with a colour matched vehicle.

Superb skills and very good easy listening dialogue..BUT....what a pain to have to keep muting that awful background guitar noise.. . why are people obsessed with having " music" on videos ? the subject matter will attract like minds but very few peoples music tastes are remotely compatible.
@PBsRetroRestorations9 ай бұрын
First up, that's a daft name 😉😂 I used to listen to commercial music while doing my restos, and of course KZbin had a conniption about that so I'd overdub them with music and the dialogue. I hope you'll check out some of my newer videos as I don't do that any more and just have the natural audio with the working footage now. Some people liked the music, most didn't and I get why. I really appreciate your honest feedback, it helps me to adapt where I can, thank you!
