Sorry, I try to help. In English pens and pencils are kept in a "pencil case." As a person who sews, if you put a small piece of fabric behind where you "sewed on the button," you could sew it on securely and then sew the top closed, with no cotton or knots showing inside, and you could pull out the lining when needed to remove dust etc. I am enjoying your designs, how you put colours together and your very neat sewing, well done.
