OH i love the sound of rain on your bus we had quite a storm here today but made no sound on roof. That squirrel is quite the character he knows good people when he sees them. Metal breakdown in 5..4..3...the way you have been pushing yourself this year it doesn't surprise me there is a time to push and a time to rest...hope you are giving yourself enough of the latter to heal from the former. "Rest time is not waste time. It is economy to gather fresh strength... It is wisdom to take occasional furlough. In the long run, we shall do more by sometimes doing less." C Spurgeon..have found that so true and I'm much further down aging road than you :-) I made a veggie stir-fry tonight would have loved a piece of that awesome BBQ chicken to go with it. Have you tried rubber foam weatherstripping around your door to seal it tighter? Also, that thin foam sheeting that CPAP filters are made out of might work taped over the fridge vent without cutting down too much on the air flow. I'm definitely going to weatherstrip my rear doors. Haven't had much of a problem but it doesn't hurt to be proactive. That's some mighty drool-inducing chicken you've got there. Maybe i need to get a grill...

How is it going? You are not on the island now, are you? I am not quite updated on that, but it does not seem that you are there now. The 6.4 earthquake west of Vancouver Island this morning sounded scary at first, but they are saying that there won't be a tsunami. So I guess everyone there is safe. Don't exhaust yourself with the videos. They can wait if you need some good rest. Great camping spot you've found! My dogs would have loved it there. Do you have ball games there with the Dude? Perfect place for that. All the dogs I have had have loved chasing balls. You can also hide the ball and make him go find it. They love that too. Take care both of you!

The Dude is a runner. We haven’t conquered that yet. Just got to Alberta, and heading west slowly. Should be there in Aug. As for earthquakes. We’ve had them ever since I was born there. They are just monitored a l lot more now. We didn’t have that technology back in the day.
