The resulting divide is so severe that an unofficial border has effectively separated the two communities within the state. As the violence carries on, efforts by the state and central governments to resolve the crisis appear minimal, and the future remains uncertain. To gain insight into what lies ahead, host Harshita Rathore sat down for dinner with a Kuki-Zo leader, Dr. Chinkholal Thangsing, who heads the Kuki People’s Alliance. Affectionately known as Dr. Lal, he proposes a solution he believes could potentially lead to lasting peace.

Even for the separate administration, it is very complex situation. Kuki understand only the geographical separation. In that case, they have to give up churachanpur as it is in the valley. So is.the case for moreh town. Kuki had bully the minority communities for 30 - 40 years chase them out to make it a kuki dominated areas. Ask the Tamils how they were bullied to take away their business and properties . This fact is supported by other communities still owning the documents for their lands in moreh. This will clear the claim by kuki whether they truly own or doesn't own the land. To add here some of the hills are a holy places for the meitei. Kuki destroyed the only shiva temple during the early time of this conflict. The negotiations for the land boundary will result in blood shed again and another issue will be if Naga and other communities will agree to their demand of 60% of the land. Another important thing would be, it is against the constitution of India to divide people on the basis of ethnicity. Other communities can also start the same demands which will devide India even more.
