Kom belongs to Kuki and touthang is surname like mutum, wangkheirakpam and they are Thadou tribe which is also under Kuki

@@mutumyangthoiba3710 kom language would be more similar with Hmar and Aimol Or to a certain extent Mizo. Thadou and kom do have similarities but not super close dialects. Gangte, Vaiphei, Paite, Thadou, Zou and Simte are very similar language, once you speak one language the rest is easy to pick up.
