March was the format before shock was popularized, after the September banlist shock was more popular after the wind up hits. Forced them to play different than a hand loop combo

I really miss the XYZ era I really miss it so much like the dino rabbit the tour guide before pendulums took over was pretty much the Pinnacle of Yu-Gi-Oh and then after that it was like let's just make extra cash I think someone also say as soon as he grows became a thing but for me it was as soon as pendulums became a thing I started to notice well this game is headed towards a different direction but it was further confirmed when slinks were a thing

I've always preferred Hydrogeddon over Guaiba, both for nostalgia and rarity reason, but, you see, I couldn't afford it when it was meta so it has never mattered lol
