Changes :- 1:- Petrol Tank lock change 2:- there is a compresser installed on the block 3:- braking system upgraded with better control . 4:- digital meter upgraded 5:- power upgraded with new grey engine . 6:- Graphics updated 7:- suspension more smoother 8:- Seat shape changed 9:- clutchplate is more effective 10:- Silencer Firing upgraded from inside....the cage is changed....& from outside....matt finishing . 11:- Vibration is as same as an older version.... 12 :- Engine Kill switch is reversed from up to down . 3:- switch light are changed from white to blue colour . most likely....the system used in pulsar RS 200 is upgraded into pulsar 220F ..... its a Magnifcient ride.....what company has introduced..... Hi Dino bhai... I need your expert advice... I am planning to buy a new bike. Previously I had a Fazer150 which I sold off few years back due to some other reason... Now I want to resume my tourings (daily commute, short, long and very long +1000 kms). Over the years things have changed. I am married now and on all my tours my wife will accompany me. So pillion comfort is of very high importance. Here are the things to consider - 1. Budget around 1.5L INR 2. Weight of 2 people = 200kgs. We are tall and over weight too. 3. Height = 6ft and 5.7ft 4. Age 31 and 30 5. Luggage will be there like panniers and top box for long rides 6. Max plans: Pune to Ladhak and Pune to Kanyakumari or similar distances + medium + daily commuting. 7. Average: Is a concern but not the highest 8. Maintenance: I do no have much time but can never forget to service bike when the next date arrives. 9. Speed lover?: Not at all. 80km/hr is my best zone. If required 90-100 as situation demands. Not at all comfortable above 100+ 10. My last ride was Pune to Nashik on a borrowed avenger where I experienced good amount of tailbone pain (Coccyx pain) Please suggest some options for me :) Thanks in anticipation Dino bhai.

why 220 is a legend ? 16 litres fuel tank .superb mileage of 45 and if ridden in high rpms you get minimum 40 kmpl and you can easily cruise at speeds of 100 kmph on highways and it's very comfortable ..super reliable engine. cheapest spares ..loud dual horn .. powerful headlights with high intensity and over all a low maintenance bike ..good looks and styling ..all for just 1 lakh rupees on road ..so .. 220 is not outdated it's still a legend in it's segment ..and don't bring ns200 into comparison with 220 ..NS 200 is off a different level, more powerful bike you can compare that to duke and rs200 and other performance bikes 220 is the value for money bike when compared to fz fazer Gixxer etc ..hornet 160 itself is 98k so definitely on can choose 220 over other bikes

As a Pulsar 220 fan I have to say this is a huge disappointment. :\ If I remember correctly rumors were that it'll get ABS, CBS and engine improvements, but all we got is new decals, blue backlight and black exhaust. I was atleast hoping that Bajaj will give a new 6 speed gearbox, but nope. All we get is *new* BS IV crap.

ZR1 Gamer please don't compare the exhaust note of RS with the RTR because RS's exhaust note is superb and the best sportiest and throatiest single cylinder exhaust note... while RTR is still having more bass but that's it. I found it almost same as that of the regular RTR s except with a bit more bass and hell lot more refined that's all. when it comes down to sound engineering tvs is second to Bajaj only...

ZR1 Gamer yeah... but rs sounds much bigger and pulsars always sound somewhat unique.. and next motorcycle that has that uniqueness are the Bajaj co developed ktms. RS has best sound elements of both the KTM motor as well as the NS motor... sounds much more distinct... but Still all of these are subjective to one person to another... so yeah I respect your opinion too since I am also a Apache fan because these two Indian brands are the only desi weapons against the Japanese.

see the braking lacks the bite, the bike doesn't decelerate quickly. Gearbox is smooth once on the run, but the 1st to 2nd shift sometimes feels really hard.
