So fucking beautiful the way you are so in love with those little tiny details and colors with the paint. You’re the reason I went the direction I did with guitar and I love your eclectic style, the rhythms, the cadence of the chord structure, and the interest in doing what’s best for the song. You are by far one of the most underrated guitarists of our time, and I’m always gonna speak your name regarding my most treasured players. I love you man, and I hope I can throw money at you soon - please come to Seattle! I will buy you all dinner!

Your Machete pickup sounds so good. I saw you demo it with your Kemper at NAMM and was really impressed with your tone. I can't wait until they are available. I remember first learning this song in 1996 and the tab I got was in Drop C# tuning. I was playing it wrong for almost a year until I saw an article in a guitar magazine where you explained your chords and tuning. I can't tell you how many hours I spent in my basement as a teen playing along to the Demanufacture album and getting my right-hand chops up. The way you build on a riff to make the other parts of the song has been a big influence on my writing style as well.
