Dinosaur Jr is one of the few bands that are still around that I have found that has been consistently good. that's never translated to Commercial Success even though they are well-known, and I can't think of any major Awards they have one but that just goes to show you talent really is better than popularity. people are telling me that rock music is dead I don't hear it

Three years later to your comments. Very true. Dino. Was so more then grunge. Jay is a master at guitar. Such a great time. Saw dino twice at lalapollaza and once in Detroit. In early 90's all I can say is wow. One of my favorite bands to this day.

Honestly Bug and You're Living All Over Me are their classic albums, but I genuinely believe if Farm came out in the 90s it would be considered a classic album and this first track has me pretty stoked about the new album. I will say Beyond was spotty, but Farm is amazing and I Bet on Sky was pretty darn good. At the very least, they are one of two bands I know of who continue to release records that can stand up to their back catalog and release new music that is still genuinely vital. Dino Jr and the Melvins (I know not everyone's cup of tea...but still amazing and breaking new ground 33 years into their career).
