This video will give a good overview of what you can expect to see in the Colorado side of the monument. It's about a 30 mile drive north from the visitors center and you will end up at Harpers Corner. We did the two mile round trip hike to the overlook there and it was breathtaking and beautiful! Once to the overlook you will have great views of the Green River, Steamboat Rock and Yumpa River where they both have carved deep canyons into the region. This part of the monument is remote and beautiful. There were only a few other visitors there at Harpers Corner and it felt nice to see some a wonderful place without all of there large crowds.

Abby and Adam, your comments on advising folks to try their best to get out to see sights like those in your videos is most true. Waiting until you retire...you might not be able to do this by then. Our family has seen its share of the inability to see the country because of waiting too long. Granted that work, finances, personal problems, medical issues, etc. can and will prevent a lot of those wishes to get out and see things from happening. I will echo A & A's comments...see all you can see while you CAN see them. All of your travel videos are so well documented and the travel videos are of exceptional quality. You make us viewers feel like we are actually traveling and hiking right along with you. For those who can't get out, they are an inspiration and a window to the world. Thanks for all your hard work bringing them to us.

I agree with this being the best visual hike you've taken, also to me, it's proof of a great flood at one time. Also thanks for sharing a place I'll never get to view and it's sad the trip is almost finished, the videos will be missed by me.......Bob.

Sage brush, and there may be some golden rod in there, but not sure (no expert by any stretch). On your property, consider putting some bee hives, lots of bee keepers would be willing to tend the hives and give you a "cut" of the honey...I bring that up because they LOVE goldenrod...

So agree, book your trip. We did an Amtrak from Chicago to Las Angeles and then up to Seattle last year. I had 3 or 4 people say they wish they could or would really enjoy doing that. I made a video for KZbin and Facebook telling people to just do it. Start planning, start saving your money, make it happen before it's to late to do it. We are waiting for our new pop up camper to be done and have 3 good trips planned this year, one being Grayton Beach in Florida :-) PS, White rim trail through Canyonlands is huge on my bucket list. Planned on doing it this year with said new pop up and decided it's to hard for that camper to handle. Also check Rimrocker trail, 160 miles of dirt from Moab to Montrose Co. Planned on doing that this year also but changed my mind. Thanks for bringing us along, your trips definitely inspire me to want to travel even more than I already want to. Cheers
