A routine visit to The Dino Institute museum is interrupted by a mischievous scientist with a secret mission. The scientist recruits you to travel back to the Cretaceous era, 65 million years ago, to capture a mild-mannered Iguanodon and return to the present day with the 3.5-ton dinosaur in tow.

It had been nearly 14 years since I rode this for the first time. We rode it again last week and the first thing I said to my sister was that the smell in the loading room triggered me having that same anticipation for this ride as I did as a 10 year old. Still remember to this day when I went to Disney for the first time with the family and it started raining. This ride (it being an indoor attraction) was still open so my grandmother thought, “dinosaurs? You should really go!! It's so amazing! I went my first time about 3 months ago & my favorite park would have to be Animal kingdom with magic kingdom in a close 2nd but I loved Hollywood studios too because there's so many shows & characters & UGGH it's really hard to choose my favorite. Epcot is amazing too because you can talk to people from all these different countries & you can shop, eat & even ride from different countries as well. So many things to do that you would probably need a month to get through all the things. From all the characters to the shows & fireworks to the incredibly awesome themed rides & hotel. It's just truly magical. These are my personal favorites from each park👇🏻 Animal kingdom: Expedition Everest Magic kingdom: Space mountain Hollywood Studios: Tower of Terror Epcot: Soarin. When or if you ever go, you should defiantly check out those rides! So much fun!! Oh & even the characters are amazing! My personal favs are goofy, gaston & stitch! I also liked Pocahontas too lol I hoped this really helped💘 Have a magical day☀️

Orionna Bean, if you haven’t been in the two years since posting, you need to as soon as possible. Disney World is so much better in person than you can ever see in these videos. The rides themselves are amazing, but the stuff in between is just as good - the theming and thought that has gone into everything(the rides, the shows, the lands, the paths, the restaurants, the hotels, the transportation between parks, etc - it doesn’t just end in the park, as long as you’re in Disney owned land, you are in one long amazing experience). There is of course so much to do - we only ever needed to leave the resort to go to WalMart, which is only ten minutes away. And of course the customer service is amazing. Everyone is so helpful, and the cast members go out of their way to help, and they are so accommodating to any requests in restaurants, etc. Just go, if you haven’t already; it’s a lot of money, but it’s so worth it.

The first time on this ride, I was with friends and it was the last ride we could ride because we had to meet with our other group in 20 minutes. And I was so scared and was curled in my friends lap and once we got to the big dinosaur the ride broke down. We had to sit in front of the big thing for 30 minutes with no wifi or anything. It was probably the most scariest moment of my life

Just went on this ride yesterday and I loved it! I prefer this over "Jurassic Park" in Universal Studios for sure. I must admit, though, as I was walking through the queue, and sitting down in my seat, I was so nervous. My heart rate was around 130 when they were showing the inital video greeting (Resting heart rate for me is around 60-70) For some odd reason, once I actually got on the ride and it started moving, I felt a bit better! I'm very sensitive to drops and such on ANY thrill ride, but I like excitement. DINOSAUR was just enough thrill without scarring me. If you regularly go on thrill rides, DINOSAUR should be a piece of cake. Although, if you have back, shoulder, or neck issues, be sure to be careful or avoid this ride altogether.

I went to Disney in 2000, I was 4 and I refused to get on this ride. In 2010 we went again and since I was older I decided to be brave and get on. Once the ride started I was fine, then I saw the first dinosaur and kept my eyes shut and my face was buried in my moms arm. I was so scared. Why does Disney need to made them so life like and scary. Me and my Bff rode this together a few months ago (were 15). We ended up huddled together crouched down while my dad tried to comfort her sister who has down syndrome. It was an awful ride choice for all of us. It's my least favorite ride in all of the parks.

I remember when I went to animal kingdom as a kid I saw this ride thinking WOW it looks amazing, when I went on it which btw it was me and my mom and my dad and we were the only ones in the car, I closed my eyes throughout the entire ride and I knew the ride took my picture during the ride so when I saw my photo I got embarrassed and laughing at the same time

Noelle Morgan, this provides a constant thrill with a much better storyline and theming(though the thrill is due to close up animatronics and speed in the dark, rather than one large drop at the end), so I’d say this is better.
