low growing ferns! In the aquarium aquascaping hobby, there's a ton of fern varieties in use, some absolutely not looking like ferns. Some, like java fern, can grow above the water, and from a distance and right variety, are fairly grassy looking. THERE, I JUSTIFIED ALL USE OF GRASS IN DINOSAUR SETTINGS

That's one of the Thinghs, I've talked about with my Brothers: They make these huge dangerous Dinosaurs, but didn't care to get some adequate Weapon-Systems, like a Mech. But I'd prefer the "Pacific Rim"-Mech, because if a T-Rex would act up, you could simply pick it up like a toy and place it back in it's cage., without having much issues. Or at least a fulöl regiment of Tanks and Attack-Helicopters, maybe some Buinkers as well. But no, while having a few Security-Mattters they didn't thjink about redundancy in the Systems, that would allow everything to work, even if the entire System fails to operate. Even tough, our Normal Zoos do alrerady have such Security-Features, like unclimbable walls in a lowered Habitat and so on.

If your resident dino expert wants a fact if they didn't already know, Allosaurus had a weak bite, but could open its mouth really wide. In order to dispatch its prey, it would use its head like an axe to kill the prey.

Your story about getting hit with the cord of a hairdryer reminded me of a story my High School Woodshop teacher told us. He always told us to be super careful around the equipment and he said he never had any bad accidents with the equipment. The worse accident he told us was a student that was skipping from one room to the next and accidentally jumped too high and smashed his nose against the top of the door. (He was a basketball player so tall + high jump.) He said there was blood everywhere but it's always the least dangerous stuff that causes the most damage. lmao.
@GrayMajik3 жыл бұрын
One of my middle school teachers who did stuff in the school workshop area once told us a story with the welder they had in there. Apparently one class he was showing the kids the welder and the number one rule was that you had to have the protective dark glasses things on while looking at it because of the dangers of how bright it was and such. Well, one of the kids forgot to do this, and although he didn’t look at it long enough for it to damage his actual eyesight, it did cause a big problem. The kid didn’t notice anything for the rest of the school day and got on the bus and went home as normal. Later that night he went to go take is contact lenses out and he literally couldn’t take them out. Turns out looking at it had actually managed to fuse the lenses to his eyes, and he had to go to the ER and have surgery to remove them. Luckily he didn’t end up losing his eyesight and the lenses were able to be removed, but it just goes to show you how important proper eye protection with welders is.

It looks amazing, well done. The Mech looks like a variant of the Nightstar from Battletech, mounting 4 flamers with really huge fuel tanks. Bluish-white (large lasers or PPCs) would have been better for the lasers, mostly because a pair of medium lasers (green) and 4 flamers is not much firepower for a 95 ton Assault class Battlemech like the Nightstar, but that could easily be fixed with a few extra barrels to suggest some big ballistic weapons to back up the lasers.
