This is one of the most inaccurate size comparison videos I have ever seen about dinosaurs, it takes a simple google search to realize that 99% of this is totally incorrect, not only that but it used inaccurate models like the jurassic world ones and the Ark models, plus some of the models were made bigger than how they actually are, even in real life, some of these aren't even dinosaurs, go read a book or listen to a video from someone who is actually knowledgeable when it comes to paleontology and dinosaurs instead of whatever this is

A lot of these are oversized, 3D model wise. The protoceratops has the right length, but height seems too tall, especially if you (image) search it. Might as well be a hornless avaceratops or zuniceratops. No way that is a lystrosaurus, especially not height wise, it might as well be a placerias. Maybe you should look up images of the dinosaurs along with their info, it looks like you didn't.

So basically....much past the 3rd smallest Dinosaur, if people had existed back then, they would have been an easy food item.
@jacobshort65287 ай бұрын
But if people HAD been alive back then, then I think that with our omnivorous tendencies, we as a race would've been herding the hadrosaurs and iguanadons like we have with cattle for the past 3,500 to 4,000 years. Sheep and goats were once mountain-jumping ungulates. Cows and oxen both came from the same Auryxes of the Eurasian forests. Iguanadons and Hadrosaurs had the most concentration of meat for their sizes. And they were herbivores. And some Iguanodon skeletons have been found with evidence of butchering. Petrified, butchered bones.

@ParaousiaComingnow 😁😆😆😆😆😆😆 They lived millions of years ago, before the humans who wrote the Bible existed. Noah's Ark is based on a folk memory of the flooding of The Black Sea.
@julianaylor43517 ай бұрын
@ParaousiaComingnow I didn't say it didn't happen, it's just not what we think it is. No one could build something that big then, it was probably a huge raft, the locals in the area of the Black Sea used to escape flooding. As for your ideas about dinosaurs though, carbon dating proves how old the rocks, with the fossils in, are. Even the mainstream churches aren't about to ignore two centuries of science.
@julianaylor43517 ай бұрын
@ParaousiaComingnow No man has ever lived for 120 years, so if he did he would have been at least 140, which is impossible. The oldest man was 119 and born in Japan and the oldest woman was 122 and born in France. I don't know if you have ever thought about it, but you are speaking to me on a piece of technology that is a product of the science, you clearly despise. The Bible, has been rewritten many times, more than any other religious book. That's a historic fact. Building stone structures is easier than building a boat. The largest vessels have only existed in the last century, made of steel. If they were building out of wood, how did they do it without machinery of any sort. Most early boats were carved out wood or waterproofed reeds. I know I'm wasting my time talking to you, but as I assume you're much younger than me. You are not going to be as clever as me, when you're 63. Let's just agree to disagree. But in mine and many others opinions you are actually missing out the true wonders of creation, by ignoring scientific evidence, some of which has been so thoroughly proved, that science now knows that the non avian dinosaur died off in an apocalyptic event that was started by a meteor strike, in the Gulf Of Mexico, one spring day over 66 million years ago. The Universe is over 13 billions years old and observations by the JWST, say it could be even older. The Earth is over 4 and a half billion years old, as proved by three centuries of Geology. Your beliefs belong in medieval times. Maybe you should throw away your technology, because it's obviously haunted by demons. 😆

It seems to me that the mosasaur has been replaced a lot. Maybe in reality it was fourteen meters, but in Jurassic World it was shown to be a little more than forty meters long. There was even a moment when he eats a person, it seems to be the size of his tooth. And at the end, when he knocks down the i-rex, the mosasaur seems to be several times larger than him, although the i-rex was 15 meters long, as stated in the video. And if it really was 14 meters long, then it would hardly be able to easily catch such a large target. And in the film it was shown how he ate a great white shark, which on average in nature reaches six meters, and it was half of his jaw. Fuuuuh ➡️☝️🤓 ⬅️

It infuriates me that people fall for this and believe that this is educational. Pretty much none of the dinosaurs in this video are what they would have looked like. Thats by far not the only thing wrong with this. The models were pretty much all taken from the jurassic world evolution and jurassic world evolution 2 games (which are based off the movies so very inaccurate). Sizes are all over the place aswell as using very different models from different dinosaurs for some. And the biggest flaw is including flying reptiles like pteranodon and marine reptiles like mosasaurus who were in no way dinosaurs. The creator 100% did not do any research into making this accurate. Please do not fall for this misinformation on these animals.

@@alexanderberman9629 water negates gravity through buoyancy
@alexanderberman96298 ай бұрын
@@George.Coleman Regarding water: yes, it allows for growing giant bodies capable of floating without sinking. But that's just a technical thing. As for gravity itself, it depends on the mass of an object. Earth loses mass faster than it gains it. I think in about a billion years, there might not be any oceans left. Earth loses hydrogen. So, it might decrease by a fraction, but it's negligible. From this, we can infer that gravity used to be stronger. Dinosaurs were only land animals. Those that swam or flew weren't dinosaurs. Most dinosaurs were small, but some were really big. Dinosaurs had a system of air sacs and dual breathing, which allowed them to be both active and agile. They also had uric acid, which didn't require a constant intake of water for dissolving, unlike urea in mammals. This made them independent of water sources, making their sizes more advantageous. Their bones were pneumatized, making their skeletons light.

It was a lot of smaller! And more and more...

more of a length comparison, because size according to science is determined by mass/weight, and also how robustly built the animal is, it is the reason why T Rex is the largest theropod, because it is more robustly built in muscles than any other theropod and larger than most prey that it ate, except the rare encounters with Alamosaurus. Triceratops and edmontosaurus rivaled t rex in weight, but T Rex can be almost as heavy as Shantungosaurus, Spinosaurus unfortunately got nerfed hard thanks to more recent paleontology studies, thank to CT scan experiment that confirmed that spinosaurus can only max out at 7.4 as a healthy adult spinosaurus, any bigger the spinosaurus would crush itself in its own weight due its weird posture with short hind limbs with arms barely reaching he floor. according to the latest studies that T Rex is the second largest dinosaur that is NOT a sauropod right below shantungosaurus
