Great job. This is a tough solo. Question: Do you pick the repeated super-fast cross-string triplets (between high E and B strings) just before the solo's climax? Or is it pick/pull-off riff? I can't quite see what you're doing - it's so fast! - and I can't tell what VC is doing on the studio recording. Thanks!

Hi Stefan, It was a very challenging solo especially for just a hobby player like myself. The run across the strings and the repeated fast pattern at the end were hammer pulls but I did pick as many of the notes as I could. I did spend much time trying to pick it all but ran out of time/patience - -lol. So I tried another approach, I learned it very slow seeing where I could best transition pull offs that could fit but keep it fluid and just build up speed. As for Vivian...the live vidoe's I seen on KZbin with him seems he did it both ways. In his younger days it certainly seems he picked that whole section. But I definately seen him do pull offs on that whole run as he is older (check him out in the tribute Band last in Line and there i a close video where you see the pull offs). It was actually that video that steered me away from trying to pick it all.
