Got my kit for the BK2. So awesome. Easy install and high quality components. I also added LED front turn signals as well as fog lamps. Looks very premium. The components have also held up very well in the New York winter and summer.

Mine are Audi modded they work fine the wire cut on them has nothing to do with this kit

Should I worry about the hot resistors melting my cover piece that you take out and put back for install? I put my resistors on the metal because I didn't want to melt my tail light housing and it's in close proximity with that cover piece. I just don't want to have a fire in my trunk while I'm driving haha!

One of my modules died within a year after installing. Just received a warranty replacement but im afraid of same thing happening within a year or so.. are these prone to malfunction or break?

Hey there! These are not prone to failure at all, as these are actually some of the lowest warrantied out items we offer in our entire lineup. I wouldn't worry about installing these again, you won't have any further issues!

when unlocking the door with your key does the tail lights light up like they do with the factory turn signals?

msjconnolly, after installing this module, your tail lights will be activated by anything that previously used the factory turn signal location. Thanks!

Diode Dynamics , I don't think so. I could be misinterpreting your message, but when I locked my door prior to installing these modules, the turn signals used to activate and flash two times. Now, after installing these modules, the brake lights activates and flashes two times. If that's what you meant in your message, you may disregard this message.

By running lights, are you referring to the factory LED portion within the housing itself? If it is a factory LED portion, you may need a new tail light assembly unfortunately.

So you can just cut the wire on your harness for the Audi mod correct? Or would you still have to open the taillights on 13+ genesis and cut each wire for the Audi mod?

I went to install it on my gen and realized that the resistors had no adhesive tape on the back but instead 2 holes, 1 on each side. Will I have to run and get 3M tape to install it?

The resistors will get pretty hot. We recommend securing them to a metal surface using screws.
