Plato's students defined a human as "a featherless biped". To show them the flaws in their definition, Diogenes bought a chicken at the market, plucked it, took it into Plato's academy, held it up for them, and shouted "Behold! A man!" So they added "with wide, flat nails" to their definition.

Diogenes the Cynic, whom this video refers to, once was publicly doing some "self soothing", the ol' wrist twist relief, a classic Yankee spankie, getting the chorizo ready to cook, shaking down a snake, y'all know what I mean. Anyway, someone approaches him and trips out, telling him you can't do that in public! Diogenes keeps torquing his crank shaft and tells the guy "if only I could rub my stomach to make my hunger go away"
