hu? Buffon made his 1st appearence in Serie A at 17 years of age. At 19 made his 1st international appearence. With Pagliuca and Toldo as Italian GKs(both considered 2 of the best GKs of the 90s) . Totally agree... first a good GK also needs a good defense... you can pick the best GK in the world... give him the worst defense and he will concede 5 goals every single game or more. I'm saying this because Porto, aside from Pepe, has an awful defense... really awful has much as it pains me to admit... we have defenders good to be playing in the weaker teams of the league... not in one of the best of the country... And Diogo Costa, saved us a lot this season...and the last one, and the one before that xD Even tho Benfica and Sporting also have good GK (they are still getting better like Diogo Costa) they also have a better defense than Porto at the moment which helps a lot in most of the saves etc

Calm down. Costa is an excellent GK but there's lots of work to be done. He's still a young player with a promising future on his hands, literally. He's a cold cat, sober, and a very mental player. Because is humble and he works a lot, I'm sure he'll become a top GK with a 15 years solid career at the highest level. But that's too soon for comparisons with guys like Buffon, Neuer, Ederson, and so. Stop with that! Just let him grow as need. For a GK, experience is one of the most important advantages.

More pressure on Portugal? Not on the team that had never been in this position before? With the more inexperienced players? With players that never took a penalty on this kind of stage? Costa did great to block those penalties, but at the same time, it seems everyone is focusing too much on him and not on the players, none of the shots went to the corners, he didn't need to stretch much, the players took bad penalties and Costa did what he had to do. Oblak's blocked penalty was definitely more impressive than any of those 3, as Ronaldo put the ball in a hard spot.

LOLADA, what to say about the Bruno Fernandes Penalty then? Ball in the middle and in slow motion, why the amazing Oblak did not save it, what a stupid comment. In order to save it you need to guess where it goes, and he did guessed all 3 (Oblak only guessed 1 in the penalty shootout (Ronaldo one), stop with this bullshit of bad penalties and not given credit to who deserves it.

Bruno's penalty wasn't to the middle and it caught Oblak off his foot because Oblak committed to the jump too early, doesn't change the fact the one penalty Oblak saved was more impressive. Penalties aren't just guessing, I dislike when keepers just guess and commit to a side too early because too many times they let in otherwise easily blocked penalties, Costa didn't commit too early and it paid off. As soon as I saw they were going to penalties, I immediately called the winner like in many other shootouts for years because of how inexperienced the takers were in this stage. It's clear you love Costa but there is no need for you to defend him since no one is attacking him, though I guess it may seem like that when someone dates to bring up how much pressure the much worse team of Slovenia was under to do this in their best ever Euro, the only Euro in which they got out of the group stage. The video has enough Costa dick sucking so I decided to point out the obvious.
