I watched this number so much I bought the DVD of the whole concert. Most of his great songs are sung live with these 2 happy back-ups. In between songs on the DVD Dion talks about the songs, life, and plays some blues. But this number is by far the best on the album because of the dum de dum dum's and their faces! Like others say below, I didn't like this music when it was popular, but it has aged so well! Plus Run Around Sue, Donna Prima Donna, all these easy rockers.

Agreed. Although I have no account of my own, since I wasn't close to being born back then, but I can't help noticing all the noise and nonsense that the media spews out in so many platforms. The cacophony we produce individually now makes the media sound like whispers in comparison. Just close your eyes and imagine the mid 50's, slowly desensitizing and snowballing through the sexual revolution and so on... Southpark and Stewie Griffin alone would have cause everyone head to explode had it been aired in the 1950's, and those are just animation, wait till they hear the garbage people call music these days. To end on the positive, we can tune in and watch all the gems of old on YT should we choose to. I dig Doo-Wop like it's new, so what if I was born in 1977?

They don't write, produce, sing songs like this today because it was a different word back then and most of the so called Rock stars of today have NO talent. They couldn't sing like this to save there lives.

My compliments to the sound man! Good as the original in ways! Maybe better? Oh well, I still love it! The original is very hard to beat. My compliments to Dion and the other guys! May 50"s live within our Universe!

I saw Dion do this song with these 2 guys about 5 years ago. This is one of the best songs of rock and roll.

Wow!! Wow(!!!) think of how much artist from this time period just don't sound the same anymore. Dion sounds amazing, like a million bucks...This was on a compilation cd I have in my car. I found myself playing it over and over and over again on my drive home. I wish it wasn't a 99 VW Jetta I was driving...I was imagining a 57 Chevy tearing up the Highway. This music has such raw energy too it.

Is it just me or does it look like Dion is standing in between Lemmy Kilmister and Steven Van Zandt ?? 😆😆😆...all jokes aside, I grew up hearing this, Frank,Frankie, Motown's Catalog,The Beach Boys and a lot of other great vocal harmony/doo wop groups and I'm only 34... between cooking with my grandmom or kickin' it with my dad..always great music in my life.. I ended up becoming a huge Beach Boys/Brian Wilson fan and I've discovered even more good classic music from listening to interviews with him about his inspirations....long live rock n roll.
