I have always liked Dionne. I also admire that she is still performing at 81. However, she does NOT sound the same as she did when she was younger. She doesn't sound bad in this video but her voice clearly has diminished. I'm NOT saying the performance in this video is bad. I do disagree with your comment that she is "sounding the same." She doesn't.

Dionne Warwick is a Legend. She is fully aware of her voice. There was a time Dionne would sing your song in your face and make it hers. She tours because she has to. This is her last year touring I heard. After years of working on television on the road on airplanes and business endeavors she deserves to retire. She's having mobility issues has had back problems took a few falls in last coupon of years and her voice is leaving. Bless her heart. Miss Kennedy Center Honoree. She deserve it.

I saw her up close and spoke with this living legend about 1981, though we've aged a bit, it is stirring to still be sitting here listening to this gorgeous, soulful, unblemished woman. Every girl coming up vocally portraying that "sad, jilted, broken hearted" lover owes gratitude to this lady who created that sound and feeling, give it up for Burt and Hal David also.

Yes, her voice has changed with age but it's nice to hear her sing and bring back old memories. I used to sing all of her songs when I was about 15 years old. I thought that I forgot the words but hearing her singing them made me recall the words. Continue to sing Deonne it brings joy to our heart.

Saw her in Switzerland on May 19th it was TERRIFIC... she sang I say a little prayer in duet with her son (who played drums, and has an amazing voice!)

She spoke about her appearance change. She like all entertainers of that era wore gowns and wigs and lashes. When she was first starting out she performed all over Europe and that was expected of her. Now this age she can relax and do her own thing. Plus her shows are way more scaled down....if had to perform with an orchestra you better better she'll show up big time.

I would love to see her live! Yes the voice has changed but she a legend. I think it brings her joy to sing to the people who still appreciate who she is. She was absolutely incredible in her youth. She deserves her flowers!

It sad when they lose their voice especially when they were once so great and that can never be taken away. Her lifelong heavy smoking habit did not help.

At least one listener who is realistic and ohjective, the once great voice is long gone, as stated partly by age, but mainly smoking. Other singers in her age group, voices have aged, but not suffered to the extent hers has. Mathis, Streisand, Tony Bennet (who is even older) stll have retained more of their more youthful voice.

@@peterholwill1170 Absolutely agree! I saw Tony Bennett when he was 88, and his voice, although aged some of course, was great! I see all of these accolades here for Dionne here by people who are happy to see her, but her singing has a very limited range now, with the keys being lowered a lot. It's nice that many still appreciate her, but her singing just isn't very good anymore

I'm a City Winery VinoFile member which allows me to buy tickets the day before the general public. When Dionne Warwick got announced my friend and I were so sure she'd sell out both nights that we bought the High Top seats in the back for $125 centered for Wednesday which was a great seat. But Dionne didn't sell at all which I'm shocked so City Winery posted tickets for $17.00. I was pissed but my friend and I then also went Tuesday night. The seat I had Tuesday night was the worst seat at City Winery. I couldn't see Dionne as she was blocked by the piano so I didn't record then. Yes she did sing Anyone Who Had A Heart? on Wednesday. I only taped songs here and there as I didn't have a photo pass or tri-pod although City Winery never stops me with my camera.

Ms. Dionne Warwick is an international treasure class act; however, unfortunately- her vocality and pitch have significantly curtailed and diminished. This is the worse concert I heard from Warwick. Perhaps- she should consider retiring. Or- maybe she had a bad day. May God resume blessing in her latter years in health and happiness.
