IMO, Nuna exec does everything really well. It’s actually useable infant to booster convertible car seat. Everything is integrated, adjustable, easy to use. Diono is really only for front facing in most applications, a lot of pieces that you need to figure out. But once you do, it works pretty well. I like that the side for thigh is low so it’s much easier for my 2.5 y/o Toddler to get in and out on his own. So don’t get the the rxt safe +, save the $70 and get the r safe + with their 25% off coupon if you’re going to use it front facing. If you got the $750 then go for the exec, especially if you’re foregoing the infant, then you’ll get all the life out of it.

If I’m purchasing a car seat for an older child and don’t need the infant accessories, is everything else the same with the 3R Safeplus (compared to the 3RXT safeplus)? Such as the padding, fabric quality, etc.?

Technically XT has a slightly different base platform with slightly more side protection. But I feel like looking at pics I can’t tell. But that’s what their customer service told me.
