First time I've seen a honest sponsored review. Nice surprise. Congrats!

You hit the nail on the head. I made some adjustments to my diono and my kid sits a lot better in it now. Just put a pillow under the chair to raise the angle so he doesn't slide off and we used a luggage strap to straighten up the back rest. Now it's pretty much perfect. Simple little hack.

You should definitely upload a video so I can see exactly what you did! Lol My son is 13 months old and I haven’t been able to use the stroller because he looks so uncomfortable like he’s falling out of it

@Warren Tusker yes it still folds if you position the strap in the right place.

@@evolnull125 diono now sell a "Diono Traverze Comfort Cushion" which is a wedge that velcros in under the seat and makes a big difference. Really easy to install and pretty cheap too. Ours was £8.

@jacqueryan7134 I got that one on mine, but doesn't resolve the problem at all. My son still seems pretty uncomfortable. I think I'll try to increase the edge a bit more to see if helps, but really looks like the seat is not deep enough to accommodate his legs, and I'm talking about an 18 months old baby that is in the 15h percentile in height and weight.

Thank you for this review! We got our diono traverse stroller as a baby shower gift two years ago. so when our daughter was old enough to be in it we couldn’t wait to use it. Everything you said is spot on. It’s a great stroller, smooth ride, easy to open and close and compact but the seat really bothers me. My daughter always looks like she is so uncomfortable. I thought it was only me that’s why I’m so glad to see your video. Looking into getting something else for her.

I bought this stroller before I saw this review and boy do I regret getting it! My baby is 5 months old and looks like he’s slipping off the seat! He’s clearly uncomfortable and seated awkwardly. Your review was bang on! This could be a top travel stroller if they fixed the seat issue and I would also recommend they put at least one cup holder option in it too. I’m sad to have wasted my money

So sorry to hear that. But yes, I hope they make the needed adjustments to their seat. Hopefully this helps other parents stay aware. Thanks for sharing.

@@dadverb they now make a "Diono Traverze Comfort Cushion" which (in my opinion) does a pretty decent job of adjusting the seat angle.

Selfishly, I was glad to see in your review that you still prefer the Minu bc I recently bought one and if the Traverze was better I'd bang my head against the wall. We're still super pleased with the Minu and will attempt to put it in an overhead bin this fall--would love to hear if you are successful with this!

Completely agree with you on the weird recline that this stroller has. That’s why we switched from the traverze to the minu on our registry.

Yeah, I think quite a few people have sent me messages with similar feelings about that recline. I think you'll be happy about making the switch.

I’m 2 years late but just bought this stroller for my 10-month-old and I see what you’re saying about the seat recline but hopefully I can get some good use out of it being that I’m going to start traveling with my baby boy but guess what I got it for $60 bucks it’s cheaper than ever unless I just got a good deal at this store. Brand new in the copper hive color great honest review thanks!

I think the new ones (although look the same) come with an additional “comfort cushion”, I’ve just purchased this pram, and it came with a comfort cushion which you insert under the seat, and it makes the seat less parallel. It kind of makes the seat more of a “bucket” seat, like other prams. ☺️

I was wondering have you use the full recline feature? It shows it lays all the way back? Was wondering what are your thoughts on this ? Also could you do a review of the silver cross jet ?

I love your review ! I have an eight month old and the seat is not the best . He keeps pulling himself up. Also I wish the lower flap can also be adjustable So it can be like a footrest.
@genbeav
@genbeav 6 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with the seat! What I do is fold the Diono flap and tuck it in under the seat to make my toddler more inclined and give him more seat room. The inclination need to have more room to tighten it so the kid can be more on upright position.

Which would be better for a 4 year old ? GB pockit + all terrain or the Diono ? Which has a wider seat ? And better head room ?

Super review, very useful and constructive. Thank you for being honest. We have Maclaren Quest with exactly same angle issues - kid is constantly sliding which also causes him rubbing more on the belts in the groin. Definitely need an angle - at least for my 1 year old size.

Great review! How is it compared to the GB Pockit Plus or the original GB Pockit? We are looking for a lightweight traveling stroller for our 2yr old toddler. Thanks.

I'd lean toward the GB Pockit Plus. Ultra compact and super light. A tad flimsier, but overall a better choice than Diono's current option.

Hi,Love your videos. I purchased Traverze, but I felt that the child was not comfortable because the seat is too shallow and the angle is bad. The product that arrived first didn't recline nearly flat almost like the one of this video, but the exchange product recline fully. I'm thinking about getting a new stroller silvercross jet because Traverze after exchange, still angle is bad.

Omg yes! I loved it... until I put my 13 month old in it... he was so uncomfortable and held onto the sides constantly to try an pull himself up! You could tell he felt like he was falling out!! Agree 100% with this review! I’m hoping When he is a little older he won’t be able to use it but as of now it’s sitting in my closet because I’m not gonna put my son in anything he looks completely uncomfortable and no matter how slick it looks or compact it is!
