I've watched this before, but I didn't notice until just now that Diontae has FANTASTIC hands - not that he's making circus-catched, he is hoovering the ball out of the air and securing it instantly, again and again. He'd getting into his cut/burst/tuck half a beat earlier than most guys, which allows him to get an extra split second to figure out what to do with the defender.

Now that we got a 2 headed monster at Tight end, him & juju’s production could increase in 2020. Not to mention the additions of super bowl 52 & 54 champion O-lineman Stefen Wisniewski, and FB Derek Watt, This offense could improve greatly if Ben stays healthy and Randy Fitchner starts to get his head out of his ass and gets creative.

An aging QB coming off of major surgery and I'm much less worried about him than I am Fitchner--not a fan of this OC but Ben in the no-huddle drawing up plays in the dirt with no AB needing the ball forced to him is what has my hopes high. You're right--just needs to stay healthy.

I think Johnson probably has the most "raw talent" on the receiver squad, between route running, glue like hands, and special teams. I'm going to be honest, he should start over James Washington, sorry. With Johnson on the other side of JuJu, it'll be like AB all over again for Ben, minus the drama hopefully.

@@SteelerNationHighlights idk, Juju is still a sub-par route runner. He's got good hands, but I don't think he can be a true #1 until he gets better on routes. Diontae is a natural at the routes man, his speed in and out of cuts is sick. He actually plays the game a lot like AB. Plus he has good hands. Johnson's downside is ball security it seems. He had a few pretty inexcusable fumbles last season. He's a little undersized too, but I've read where he put on some lean mass during the offseason. I wouldn't be surprised if either get the #1 slot tbh, and whoever doesn't will definitely be #2.
