I’m so upset that I missed your video! The last 2 nights, I just couldn’t stay awake and had to call it a night early. I don’t know why your video didn’t pop up on my newsfeed. I watched another KZbinr tonight, and she swatched what she bought. I went ahead and purchased (718 Bandana) and got the pink case. I really hope I like what I picked out. Thanks for the video though. I might purchase the nude sparkle shade, but I don’t know. It’s so hard for me to pick out colors over the internet, especially lipstick.

Hi Lexi, I do love all the lighter shades the darker ones are a little too bright & shiny for my preference. So perfect for spring & summer. I love that they last 6 hours which is impressive for such an emollient shiny lipstick. Great review as always. 💄💋

The Chanel are incredibly long-wearing. The pigment soaks into your lips and really stays put all day. The Dior are slightly better than average, especially for something so glossy, but they are not all day wear like the Chanel. I just wish Chanel had some of the cooler tones that Dior has in their lineup.

Tie and Dior, looks like a lip balm on me. Atelier is barely a little more pigmented than my lips. Pink Bow is the only one you could discernibly tell apart from my lips. I am olive medium skin tone, so they don't quite show up as pigmented on me. Atelier looks gorgeous and so pigmented on your skin. Now I am doing research to see which ones I could swap them out for. That Saddle shade is so beautiful! 😍

Thank you Lexi! Another great video with the best swatches!! And, thank you for the definitive comment regarding the 6 hour of wear. I do not own any Dior lip products. How does this Addict Shine formula compare to Chantecaille Lip Chics? If it wears for 6 hours it has grip. It would be great to have a video where you take one basic color of lip product, (say rose) across all of your many lip products (glosses, balms, etc) and give a number ranking for both comfort and durability. Durability really does vary! Your videos are the best and I love the Rose Mallow on you!!

Hi Anya! I have a few videos like that already with certain finishes of lipsticks and will work on satins at some point. They take a long time to do. These are more of a lip oil/lipstick texture and leave a stain or pigment that lasts for a long time but the glossy texture lasts for a while. The lip chics are more of a thicker balm texture than these and the pigment does not last quite as long as the Dior.

I think the Dior have a more emollient texture but they don’t last as long. The Chanel last longer, are less emollient on the lips, but have a subtle hydration effect throughout the day so my vote goes to Chanel.

I don't currently have any of the lip glow products, but I think those will fit in the cases. There is a clear shade in that. Otherwise, they don't currently have a balm for these, only in the rouge lipstick cases.

I just ordered the pink cannage case but unfortunately for some reason the case doesn't fit my older lip addict refill. Not sure what happened. I thought I was the only one but I ordered it from Bloomingdales and another customer had the same issue. Very strange. I'm wondering if there were just some of the new cases that had defects.

No, the addict and Dior Rouge lipsticks and balms are refillable but the Dior Rouge Forever are not refillable. The Dior rouge lipsticks and balms are interchangeable with each other while the dior addicts have the different cases you can purchase.

I'm not sure what you are asking specifically. The Dior addict cases and Rouge Dior cases are different but always have been. These new refills fit into the regular addict cases as well as these new cases you can purchase separately or the new case you can purchase as a whole item.

It is not leather, it is a lacquered vinyl to appear as though it is patent leather. It is essentially vegan patent leather.

The "fake smile" is there just to show how the lipsticks affect the appearance of teeth as some shades make teeth look whiter than others.
