Ahhh FINALLY!!! You can also do the whole tik Tok hack where people are mixing the Dior with a few drops of a serum or milky toner (I tried it with the I am from toner) and it gives a much more skin like finish and sheers it out more.

Hi Alicia, a few suggestions for the Dior stick foundation: try the stick with the Dior glow star filter and see how it looks; you can also try using a more emollient moisturizer that gives your skin a nice glow before using the Dior stick foundation. I have dry skin and I use Clinique dramatically different lotion+ moisturizer and a facial oil before using my Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation. This cocktail really moisturizes my skin well and gives me a nice glow. I think prepping your skin a little better with the stick may help. 🥰

You are my shade twin and 3 was too light, 3.5 just a bit flat. I mix it with my Lancôme teint idol ultra wear 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m the same Dior shade as you but a little warmer undertone and you’re right it does make my complexion look a little more dull. Using a brightening concealer and bronzer helps add some dimension though. I only plan to use this for travel so it fits my purposes but thank you for sharing your review bc I thought the dullness was just me lol

We are skin shade twins and your review was spot on. I felt the shade 3.5N was exactly what you said - dull and flat. It’s a dead match for me but it makes me look so dull. I am thinking of cocktailing it with a milky toner or my nars lrf. I do find it helpful to do minimal setting and the foundation wears beautifully and looks skin like in that case. I am definitely taking your advice on the application coz I do find that I look very cakey quite quickly. Loved this video❤

I absolutely adore the Dior. I was a little surprised by the scent but it disappeared so quickly where I didn’t notice it. I use 2N but I do moisturize well before using. It’s just so easy to use and blends like a dream. Love it!❤

I’ve ended up buying two shades of this using the lighter one on the centre of my face. Demi Moore’s makeup artist used three different shades on her face at the Golden Globes. It works well concealing also. ❤

I am so glad you made this video! You validated my thoughts about this foundation. My skin leans more dry as i have gotten older. I also could not get my color right. I love Dior products and wanted to love this but I didn't like it at all. If i ever decide to give it another try i will go with your recommendation of mixing it.

It's such a pretty foundation, and blends so great, but the shades are so tough. You can see when you compare it to your other shades; there is so much peach/pink in the neutral that just won't work for my light/medium olive/warm skin. For me, 2.5 looked ashy and pink, and 2W looks like a very extra warm 3W lol. Hope they come out with more shades!

I use 3N and that works best for my skin tone. I really like the stick foundation it has replaced my TF foundation stick. I have combo skin so I do get oily in the t zone. After I use concealer, bronzer, & blush it all just blends together. I’m interested in how your wear test went. Nothing wrong with having to use multiple products to achieve the right shade or consistency. I use the Dior glow filter on some of my more matte foundations because my skin is very dry right now. Since I have dry skin, I sampled it in-store too. Can’t say I liked it at all. But eventually, I caved in and got it. When I pair it with DM Yummy Skin Moisture Balm Serum, I get enough dew.

Girl, I have the same issue with the O range in Dior. 2WO makes me look crazy and 3W0 is too deep. It's deeper than the 3N shade, which is the right depth but the wrong undertone on me. For some reason, there is no 2.5W0. I like the formulas but the color 😭

We’re skin twins and I’m so annoyed they don’t have the olive shades for these sticks! That’s what brought me to Dior foundations to begin with. Try the Basma in shade 21. Not drying at all, fragrance free and criminally slept on.
