Hello Steve! I absolutely love the Dior Homme line. Dior Homme Eau is criminally underrated, it is a jewel for the office and dressy enviroments. I adore DHE, I have gotten plenty of compliments while wearing it. It is often compared to Prada Lhomme... I prefere DHE because it is more subtle than PL. Thanks for the great review.

I have a 2013 , much to my surprise , and a 2014 of Eau Homme . With the one , I actually that I had the Homme , but I liked the Eau enough to keep it. I really love this one in late Winter, for whatever reason the heat causes the coriander to be too pronounced. But in the colder days in the 50°F range, perhaps it evaporates in ways that makes the notes burn off in a way that's more to my liking. Either way, still a fantastic release. So glad I have it to keep in my "Long-Term Holds" collection. Which simply means I'm keeping it for historical purposes.

Yeah I really liked the smell of this one when I smelled in store. I waited a while and then prada lhomme l'eau came out. It smelled similar to dior eau so I got the prada instead in the 5 oz bottle.

I grabbed another bottle of this and it is the same batch number as in the video. The previous bottle I bought was from the 5j** batch but it was a bit more on the clear side, almost a blue hue to it compared to the older batch which is a bit more yellow in apperance. The smell is almost exact but the older batch seems to be more intense than the newer batch. Also payed double the price since it's discontinued.

HI Steven, I recently got a 2014 batch of Dior Homme Eau, and it seems very authentic, looks identical to my Dior Homme (pre 2020 formulation) however, the bottom where the batch code info is etc, seems to be stamped on and can be scratched off with some effort, as opposed to etched in like the newer formulations. Did Dior once use a stamping process? Is my bottle authentic? Looks and smells great but the bottom is confusing me

Steven, I just received my bottle of Redbrook Underground Edition and what an interesting fragrance! That seaweed note took me by surprise. I need to spend more time with the fragrance to wrap my head around it, but upon first impression it's almost like an oceanic flanker of LIDGE with the seaweed, citruses, chocolate, and patchouli. Or maybe a cousin of Costa Azzurra. So unique!

Bravo Steven! This fragrance is so underrated! When it was released everybody thought it was boring because they were comparing it to Dior Homme. Now compare it to all the blue fragrances that have been released since then and it doesn't seem so boring. This smells more expensive than Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage. This has been discontinued now right? By the way, the version of Eau before the one you have was darker blue in color and stronger of course. I loved it so much.

I was so gutted when this got discontinued it was a staple of mine in my 20’s. Last week I found it on an online fragrance store for £70 100ml I had to get 2, I’m over the moon it’s just as I remember although it seems to last longer 😍 I’d never be silly enough to buy anything from ebay or these people that charge double or more than the price just because it’s discontinued, acting as if they’ve taken over that specific flanker like they’re owed the world 🤣 Don’t get scammed or done over especially for a fragrance… Just do your research you’ll find one 👏🏼

I found a 2014 batch code 4V01 at my local Sephora today for 57 dollars!!! On clearance no doubt. In 2021 here in San Antonio TX. I don’t wanna open it and wanna see if the juice is yellow or blue. (I read on fragrantica that the juice can change colors.

@@deependcuration I have Prada L'homme , and yes there's the Iris , but if I remember correctly , the Dior Eau changes much more than Prada's . With Prada , I love the Black . I also have a number of the Luna Rossa's . I did get a decant of Carbon , but never a bottle. I have Prada's Amber's too. So I do like Prada . I also have a good number of the Dior's . The only one I don't have from the Homme line is the Parfum. I do like both houses . The opening to Dior's Eau , surprisingly , is potent , and it stays that way for a little bit , then of course comes in closer. I think that's the way they made them back then , but the Eau is in no way anything like Vintage Polo Green or vintage Chanel's Antaeus etc. Those were room fillers. Seriously . To your comment , yes , the Prada's is more blended and rounded , where Eau isn't so much. I don't think Eau is hard or abrasive though. At least on me it's not. Wearing Aqua di Parma's Colonial Club today. I enjoy this one. Got a 1.7 for around $40. Is it anything special , well no , but it makes me smile still. Glad you got your package early.
