Great review man, here's little info to support your video: the new DHI 2020, despite the repackaging, is still the same formulation with the latest 2017 (and up) batches, the code 10950/A shows the formula. Aside from the og 2007 (03214/A), there are three reformulations already: 2011 (05443/A), 2014 (08666/A) and 2017 (10950/A).

@@maromorostar6621 the thing is .. cold winterdays I always go for parfum. Cool/warm days EDP and warm days I pull EDT ! This is what I do because it’s so hard to choose 😂

Another sucker of DHI here, so much that I’m thinking to buy a backup bottle due to the fact that Dior is destroying the Homme line (just see what they did with the original Homme, moreover all the stupid flankers like Cologne / Eau / Sport and the 2020 Homme which, yes, is a good fragrance but makes no sense to make it fit in the Homme line). By the way, I would ask if also the DHI pre-2020 had in the ingredient list the ‘parfum’ voice as 3rd position like the DHI Late Batch? Or it had it at 2nd position? Great thank you in advance

I can understand where you’re coming from. I love DHI ! I Have 2011,13,16 and 21 . Well the DIor homme 2020 Is a nice smooth woody fragrance but indeed , nothing to do with Dior homme line . I think the same! Can you please clarify your last point please ?

@@SUBIESAMURAI07 Yes, I will try to be more clear. If you see the Ingredient List, as first there is always Alcol Denat, then at 2nd place sometimes there is 'Water' or 'Parfum (fragrance)'. My DHI 2020 batch 10950/A has: Alcol, Water, parfum, etc. My question is, does the DHI pre2020 (the one with the writings on the glass, to be clear) have the same ingredient list, or maybe it has "alcol, parfum, water, etc"? Because I'm with the team that says that the performance has decrease (I will explain why). Thank you a lot in advance, cheers from Italy.

@@SUBIESAMURAI07 Because I think that the lasting power is due to the placement of the "fragrance" in the position, which yes, mean more concetrated. I don't believe that parfum is always more concentrated that edp, but I think that big house plays with reformulations by just adding water or alcol to water-it up.

@@beau_de_jour there are a lot of cases that they had to explain to their lawyers. Fraud with tomford in 2012 was a big case . Yes you are right , the newest DHI ingredients are better then the old one . But don’t get me wrong , sometimes the composition is also an important factor . For example , oakmoss and balsamic notes are very strong ! When you put elemi, laudanum or benzoin in a edp, would kill the parfum with only citrus ingredients. But yes , your right ! 100%

@@etets444 hey I found mine ...2013 is 3U02 ... 2011 is 1W03 and 2020 is 0B02 . I just wear it for let’s say 4 days and test it out .... very simple but every skin is different! On my skin they both are pretty good ! ❤️❤️❤️

Hello , how many sprays do you do with dhi usually ? How many sprays does it take for the scent to reach your nose all the time not just occasional whiff if you get what i mean. For me dhi only is moderate to almost strong but not in a league as pdm strong so maybe you could tell us your "satisfying number" of sprays .. thankyu

fortunately , pdm fragrances are stronger . Layton , Layton ex , carlisle , oajan , pega ex, kalan are really strong ! When I use DIOR homme intense , I use 3 sprayes first , let it dry for an hour and refresh it with 5 sprays . In total 8! But if I’m I’m hurry and I can’t wait an hour , then I do 7 . Advise … use it also on you clothes 😏

@@SUBIESAMURAI07 yes i was also underwhelmed when i use pegasus the day before and get like 4 hours consistent projection and 10+ hour longevity BUT the next day i wear DIOR Homme Intense with the same spray number and spot, it doesn't perform as good 🥲 While Dior homme intense longevity is just fine 8-10 hours, it's that projection that bothers me, because we all want that drydown to project to our nose as strongly as the first hour right ? But it's not that powerfull after the 2 hour mark But today i experiment using your advice but change it up a bit, so i'll do 3 spray on top of each other to the V area above the chest with the added 3 to the usual left right and back side of the neck.. total 6 sprays I'm kinda bummed that while YES spraying DHI to my clothes (usually 2-3 into the chest area) does make it last the whole day but it just doesnt project and stays there , my nose can't pick up the scent after the 1,5 hours mark and thats why i'm asking veteran user spraying routine like you

I have a mid 2019 batch (9G02). Darker juice. Came in a "vintage" bottle & a 2020 box. Batch codes match. The iris, patchouli/cocoa & woods are still very prominent in my bottle. Suppose I got lucky.

Love the old and the new one ! The older one is so good in the opening 🥺 it’s so delicious. But the new one , they took out the iris note and a lot of poeple went crazy and angry . To be honest , I like what they did with the new one . If you still want the iris , you can pick the intense version and if you don’t like it , get the new Dior homme edt ! The older one I like more 🥳🥳🥳🥳 me personally like them all and that’s why I have them all !!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was wearing dior homme intense 2020 and i was at the store, i bought coffee.. Well, this was the first time at the register that a lady was hugely compimenting the smell of my coffee. Dior Homme is great series, but Chanel Egoiste is far better, on condition You have good realese. It is very hard to find good egoiste formulation, but it is great scent anyway.
