Thank you Alan! Yeah, it's a little based on a relatively short time of wearing but that's really the feeling I get from it. There's a few things I forgot to mention and a couple of things I think I may have gotten a little wrong but hey, that's the nature of being human eh? Damn, I've gone all cosmic! ZoopyGoggins thanks Zoopy, I tried it at Boots yesterday. It’s very nice and I enjoyed the mandarin in the opening, it is different but also similar enough that I will test it side by side with the EDP because I really don’t think I need both. It wears very close as you say, from first impression i’m leaning towards the EDP also.

MSW 1912 I am too!! I love the edp bc it’s very chill/cool and relaxed just like me. It’s fun bc of the freshness and chill/sensual bc of the added spices and sweetness. To me tho, the Parfum is too soft and not enough spices. It just doesn’t seem necessary esp with the price

I love all Dior's Parfum versions, ie Dior Fahrenheit Parfum, Dior Homme Parfum, Dior eau Sauvage parfum and now hopefully Dior Sauvage parfum, I'm looking forward to getting me nose on it within the next few days. i don't mind that its far from the original EDT & EDP something with more character, depth with a darker richer and more mature aspect sounds good to me, if you take dior Eau Sauvage EDT and Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum they are poles apart but each excellent. and for the record i was disappointed in Bleu de chanel Parfum as its so close to the EDP i couldn't see the point.

I tend to enjoy Dior men's fragrances a little more than Chanel in general so I never really got very interested in the Bleu line. Maybe I'll try them properly soon. Cheers for watching!

@@FragFreak until I got my nose on the bleu de Chanel's edp, I wasn't impressed but the edp was a massive discovery for me and along side sauvage edp, has become one of my favourite freshies

The Eau de Parfum is more amped up in almost every regard Dan! You have to bear in mind however that my experience with the Parfum is quite limited. Thanks for watching.

Scentitar Fragrance zoopygoggins I also found the EDP to be amped up in everything. I love the edp for its rich but not overdone spiciness. It is sweet too and also fresh. However despite the fact that the Parfum is rich and more intimate with frankincense, it is too soft! Esp for that price m

Thank you Markus! Yeah, there are a few nuances creeping in already my man. The original Sauvage smell is still there in the background a little stronger than I thought at first. I'll probably do an update review at some point. A really short one. No longer than half an hour 🤣

If you spray the parfum on you cloths it last longer than edp and edt

I had similar thoughts re: the Chanel Bleu line. It took me a bit of time to appreciate the Parfum more than the EDP (EDT always in last place) but now I think that the Parfum is clearly the best edition of that scent. I'm looking forward to smelling the Parfum Sauvage (at this point I still think I prefer the obnoxious EDT to the EDP of that one).

The jury is still out with me. I might not have a favourite at all, I like them all really but the EDP just floats my boat.

Here’s what I’ve found:.... Parfum) “Sensual Sauvage”- less fresh, still spicy iteration w/added sweetness from frankincense resulting in a more intimate romantic Sauvage... very warm/fire-y vibe EDT) “Sporty Sauvage”- very simple composition of fresh Ambroxan+addictive spice note. True year rounder Cool Spray) “Summer Sauvage”- Cooler and more fresh than EDT, perfect for summer outings in heat. EDP) “Chill Sauvage”- laid back cooler iteration with extra well rounded spice, less Ambroxan, plus little sweetness. Perfect for fall/winter ... Overall I prefer the EDP bc the chill/relaxed but sexy spicy vibe and monster projection/performance. So far, the Parfum seems too soft in projection to my liking. Helpful??
