Something does not convince me about Maria Grazia Chiuri.The fabrics, the tailoring, the colours are good, very good & garments are as well. It is her creativity that does not develop/improve and every show is a deja vu of the previous one.her style is not a reflexion of Dior brand/luxury/concept. Hard to explain.Still a good show commercially.

She is not up to the Task at Dior. None of her collections. Christian Dior is glamorous and she lacks glamour. It can be modern and comfortable but there’s also tradition at CD. All due respect. There is no beauty as it always was before her.

Exactly 20 years ago he did that amazing show with an entire soundtrack of female rock n’ roll legends - Suzi Quattro, Patti Smith, Marianne Faithful et al... and all the models looked formidable. The feminist vibe was off the charts and they didn’t have to depend on slogans.

I can't say I always love her designs but when she hits for me, it's subtle researched and techniques driven genius and what's not to my taste is that only... it's no less brilliant on the level of design and construction. I can appreciate it without being thrilled about it. I found the fluo runway and backdrop screwed up my colour vision and made it difficult to see the clothes, but... I am sensitive to it. She's definitely at the top of the fashion world right now. And it's sellable (without feeling commercial) to a wide range of tastes and speaks to what I think many women want in a luxury brand. Her Ukrainian textile and pattern inspired collection was by far my recent favorite, but this one has some great stuff... close second?

Sorry, but this show was nowhere near the great Collections that have been recently put together. A number of garments looked as if they had been thrown together using the leftover handmade lace from collections past and outfits that you'd be arrested for wearing in public due to indecent exposure! This is supposed to represent Spring-Summer, yet no colour to be seen, yet plenty of Winter like coats! Some of the pieces were quite beautiful, yet after viewing it all, it was nothing but a big let down from past shows and those from other Design Houses who understood wearable, stlyish fashion much better. Maria, you dropped the ball with this one.🇦🇺👩🏼‍🎨
