My favorite part of this documentary are the seamstresses. The true artists and talent of this whole thing. It’s amazing how they make a vision come to life with their own hands.

I’m getting so old! I miss the elegance of yesterdays Dior. I love seeing models with facial expressions And I’m SO upset that Dior discontinued their Airflash foundations!!!! I’ve used it for years on my clients, now it is no more 😢

This is the opposite of Dior's aspirations and views of women, this is very sad! It doesn't show respect to his name.... what a strange time we live in!

Talk about a contradiction in terms. The new (female) head designer of DIOR is all about feminism and then talks about wanting women to look boyish? What the heck is she talking about?
@magi4z2809 ай бұрын
Change is not always accepted. She is representing the new, and younger female self-image. The owner even said - her collection represented the Dior concept. I totally loved it and I'm 73!

@@magi4z280 Absolutely agree. And while she's bringing Dior into some new times, she shows in her designs that she has definitely not forgotten him.

This documentary has been very interesting to watch! I belong to the group of women who use makeup and perfumes by Dior - however, as a 60 year old university hospital doctor in full time employment, the clothes are beyond my financial reach and not suitable for my lifestyle. I need clothes that I can ride my bicycle with and that I can throw in the washing machine because I am a commuter on public transport, I don’t attend posh social events… In short, I doubt vey much that the target consumer is the working woman (as made out in this documentary) - I suspect that most of Dior’s customers are millionaire heiresses or wives of very rich husbands with lots of time on their hands!

I'm continuing on it seems like they always are very drab in the way they dress always black and white or mostly black. It would be refreshing to see I want of the women designers really wear what they design and love what they design or what they designed for themselves that not always being something in black or white

I thought it was awful and reminds me of "the emperor's new clothes", when in actual fact he's naked but everyone says his clothes are magnificent. These were not either. I know few women who want to wear slogans or who want to look sporty when they really want feminine glamour. The androgenous look is not glamorous or appealing.

1) To those who do not recognize Dior in Grazia's first collection, I ll say to check your date of birth then perhaps your limited culture. She just brought Dior's back. Finally!! Hopefully, those punks at Dior for the last 25 years are gone for good! 2. For those fashion finicky, stating how upset or bore they are and declare will not buy Dior again after this show: A global, influencual brand collection is judged as to like and dislike only 30 to 60 days after. It is about the iterations in the stores and how the collection influence global woman. How it is recreated by those who cannot afford the Dior boutique price tags and how small, medium and large fashion company interprete, integrate or simply copy the collection in more affirdable iterations. That the designer gauging parametrer is not if you or I want to wear the particular dress she has presented. It is not made to wear. It is couture!!!!!! Couture is the idea of a creative director about the brand . The brand, in turn, sales lipstic, bags and parfumes for the masses and jewelery shoes to tye well off. 3. The last parameter become the balance sheet sometime around December- January when financial statement will tell tge story of Maria's collection. Those are the only meaningfull comments to Arnauld and his investors.

I liked her work for Valentino but she do terrible job at Dior. The fact that she is first female desiger at Dior protect her from any kind of criticism. Using feminism slogan is really idiotic. As far her biggest achivement is ¨creation¨ of silly tshirt that anyone can generate online. Why dont we see that feminism on her shows? Creating more inclusive catwalks? More plus size models? There are never any. It is also important to mension how she destroyed frenchness of the house. Shows are everything but not ¨France¨, she is italian and have italian taste. Me and most of people knowing something about fashion, fashion history and Dior heritage are witing for her to be gone. :D
