@@mandelorean6243 don't give up! i can't put stickers on straight or paint at that scale either (my hands shake real bad lol), and there are other tricks you can use instead- some things come premade and i really like using larger models and just dip-painting them one solid color instead of doing fiddly little designs. It might not come out as good, but as long as it makes you happy that's all that matters!

@@mandelorean6243 the most important part is not to give up, first kit will always leave disapointment or undesirable results, but build a few to get the routine up and challenge yourself the further you go and you will start to see results you want to see yourself doing, it always takes time, and depending on what type of kit you do, building something with instructions are always difficult, kitbashing or going from scratch id imagine being a little easier

So I saw this at a launch party for the game, it was pretty cool. I can't say it was the centre piece of the party but people would wonder over to it and stare at it for a little bit maybe take a picture and go chat with friends. If I had to give feedback to the creator I'd say to try and make the flights flicker or do a very slight fad cause it's a very static piece as is. I think its either sat somewhere with the game publisher or it got sent to the game developer (more likely), but I've not seen it since that party. So as far as I know it was on display for around 3 days during the event.

"How to express the depth and breadth of the ocean in this limited space?" While being worried about being able to do the thing you're kind of known for is very relatable, I honestly couldn't help but laugh a little. Your ability to express the vastness of a scene through only a small portion of it is honestly what keeps bringing me back to your channel.

I'm a political news and information "junkie", and I'm always stressed out. A few months back, KZbin randomly recommended your video of "The well that never runs dry". I had never watched anything like that before. I was so impressed, I binge watched all of your other videos that same night. KZbin began recommending other artists who made dioramas with resin. But none of them were as good as yours; not just your excellent work and amazing attention to detail, but the video production as well. You are an incredible artist! I was so happy to see this notification today, and I'm so glad I spent the time to watch it. Your videos bring me peace and leave me speechless in wonderment. You are so talented! It looked pretty cool when I got to see it in person but I think the diorama was more of a marketing piece to drag around to conventions when showing the game. I imagine that it's sat with the game developer atm. As for concept art, that doesn't usually take the form of a diorama (unless you have money and time to burn) because you have to iterate over the art quite quickly to find out what you want for the final game. You might have hundreds of possible drawings of a main character before their look is finalised... would be really cool to see someone try though

Please stop diminishing the artistic talent and hard work that goes into creating digital 3d models. It's not the compliment you think it is and it's incredibly disrespectful to both traditional and digital artists, it's not 'easy'. Art in any and all forms is hard work and calling one form the 'easy way' just shows everyone how little you know on the subject and how rude you are. You can compliment someone without bringing everyone else down you know.

@@Aurumai I don't know. I suppose it's possible that it could spontaneously combust but it would probably take a massive amount of resin to do that. BTW, plaster also produces heat as it sets, and can get pretty hot. My brother once got the bright idea to make a plaster cast of his hand. He filled a plastic bucket with plaster and stuck his hand in past the wrist. It didn't occur to him that the wrist is narrower than the hand. By the time the heat was starting to build up, the plaster was already hard enough that he couldn't get his hand out. Soon he was frantically running around shrieking and bashing the bucket against the concrete driveway, etc. Fortunately he managed to shatter the plaster before suffering serious burns.

Alright so I finished the video and dude... You talked about how the person who designed the ship is a genius and I'm imagining them seeing your work in complete awe noticing each and every detail you put into it. Guess that makes you a genius too.

Really awesome work! One thing that concerns me though is the LEDs being completely integrated into the diorama. If one of them were to fail/break, it would be impossible to replace/repair, which would be a real shame for such a gorgeous diorama. Would it perhaps be possible to utilize fiber optics instead? You could have the leds in a little box outside the diorama and use simple fiber optic wires to get the light to the right places in the diorama. Instead of having the power cable, you'd have a bundle of fiber optic cables.

LEDs will last a very long time, especially if driven correctly. Running them at a lower power gets them an even longer life.

OMG. This is one of the best works I've ever seen. Not only the modelling and paint job, which it's excellent, but also the composition and the good taste. Very impressive, genius.

With this insane level of detail you put in your model, i am amazed you only needed 4 month for this project 😱. That's so amazing to watch mate. Allmost sad, you had to drown it in resin. I absolutly love it 😇🥰
