In addition , diploma of nursing is - “ A diploma leading to degree”. So if you want to become registered nurse or complete your degree. You can always continue your studies and enrol in bachelors of nursing. The duration of bachelors of nursing is 3 years but if you have done diploma of nursing, you will get credit points for 1 year , which means you will only have to study your bachelors for two years and you will already have advanced knowledge and hands on practice before going for any placement. Diploma of nursing is a good option if you are unsure about your nursing career , if you eventually build interest and want to become a registered nurse, you can always pursue a specialisation after your bachelors or else you can take a break in between your diploma and bachelors. You will have quite a few options, you can either work in hospitals or age care and you will be also eligible to work in home settings/ disability or support work. If you are willing to work in aged care, you won’t need certificate 3 or 4, if you are a nursing student. Once you complete any of your aged care placements, you can apply for job as PCA (personal care assistant) in aged care settings or may as well, apply to different nursing agencies for more casual work and experience , with the help of your placement’s, clinical educator/incharge or registered nurse as a reference. It is very important and helpful to work in healthcare settings to get familiarised with patients with different health disorders and their treatments.

H! Bro I need your guidance. Basically I am from Sirsa Haryana. I got refusal yesterday(22 july). RMIT UNIVERSITY:- Master of international business. Everything is genuine. Father govt employee , Excise Inspector and ITR 11.26 lakhs + student loan from public bank 33 lakhs . 32 lakhs funds excluding fees. No gap 10:- 76% 12:- 73% BBA from Chitkara university 9.39 CGPA I HAVE the extension from RMIT university till 4 August.
