Hi Father Dave, tungkol po sa pag darasal ng magulang para sa pagbabago ng anak para maging maka Diyos ito, di po ba yan ang story ni Santa Monica na mother ni St Agustine? Na kaya sya nagbago ay dahil sa mga taimtim na prayers ng mother nya at kaya naging saint din si Santa Monica?

Yes, it's true that Jesus dictated that to Saint Faustina but Fr Dave's point is, it is still an AID through Jesus' sorrowful passion, that we are given mercy. "Wag umasa sa chaplets kung hindi nagbabago." This chaplet of the Divine Mercy, if offered with genuine love and repentance of the faithful, can indeed HELP save souls in purgatory. Fr Dave said that we are the church that prays for the dead or Church Militants, along with Church Triumphant (saints), for the souls of Church Suffering (Purgatory or purgation). Also, like what Fr Dave said, do research if this is properly backed by the Catholic Church. The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy is verified by the Church and is practiced.
